Anyway, I think as expressions of frustration go, taking a treat away is pretty mild. We all have bad days sometimes. Maybe it would help to think that Buddy is not trying to drive you crazy with the door - he just thinks you haven't noticed you need to open it, and he's come up with this really brilliant way to tell you.

Poor Thor. Yes, I agree with you that is a pretty stressful way to live.
I hope you can find some answers to help the both of you. I know
some Yorkies who are shy, afraid of noises etc but Buddy is far
from being afraid of anything. I think if he were human he'd be
wearing a leather jacket, driving a Harley with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth.
