Don't waste your time with this guy - he's not worth it. Tons of people start new relationships with animals in the picture, and he's obviously just trying to get his way with everything. If it didn't work out the first time, why would the second time be different? Sure, I had rough spots with my husband when we were dating, but we were 17 when we began dating...it was stupid high school stuff. Older than that, people should be able to get through things, and if they can't, they just aren't meant to be, you know? I wish you the best of luck with everything, but if I were you, I would certainly leave this guy and never look back.

Men and women get together all the time with 'baggage' - lots of women are divorced & have kids and find a man who is willing to be part of a 'family' unit

so think of the bigger picture - men will take on children - so how could it be different than taking on 2 little yorkies ???

Children are a much bigger responsibility so what he said was not only dumb but wrong.
