| I get asked this question all the time, as anyone that has seen, and met Miley loves her! I swear, they must want one like her, and figure they should ask how much they cost first..idiots! I feel it is a very RUDE question that I never answer..I also just say "enough". I feel that they are just being nosy, and judgemental, as the ones that have asked me the most often aren't really "dog people"..and as we ALL know..there is "something" just not right about people that don't like dogs!!

Well, I feel like I got a "steal of a deal" on both of them, because I don't have enough money to buy the kind of love and happiness they have brought to me and DH, aka, Puppy Stealer.

![]() ![]() Was it hard to keep a straight face?I don't really get that question. I think I only got it once from my uncle his wife and his sister in law, I don't really like them. They criticized me for paying for a "stupid dog." I countered, "Well... At least he's better behaved than most kids!" Then I showed off all his tricks and how obedient he is and that alone had their jaws on the ground.

| I have never been asked how much I paid for my Yorkie, although we live in a rural area and not too many people see me with her, only friends who come to the house and they wouldn't ask I hope! Ya'll have some good answers (especially at Hallmark), I will have to remember them in case I ever get asked. |

| What makes me even more uncomfortable is when someone sees my Suzi and always wants "one" just like her. They oooh and ahhh over her. Suzi is very friendly , loves the attention. Makes me nervous. I have gotten the how much was she ? Ijust say too much, and thats it . However, Yorkie's are not the only breed of dogs that are known to be expensive. the English Bulldog, for example are very pricey . And can have major behavoral problems too, if not treated right. Yorkies are so much cuter I have a shi tzu and see that this is a most wanted breed as well . Both my 2 girls are the love of my life , and i'd be lost without them.

| yeah that's right! People joke around with me all the time. They come into my store and ask "how much for the dog?" *haha polite laugh* "no really, how much?" and they actually open their wallet. So one time this one guy did that, and i go "yeah that joke gets funnier every time I hear it" and his friend goes "awkward...." douches, they left after that. i am so good at customer service aren't I?

| i always say that a good rule of thumb is is to pay between 600 and 900 if you pay less you may be dealing with a puppy mill(a lot in my area)and if you pay more you are getting riped off and again may be dealing with a puppy mill i tell them to ask to see the breeder befoure they buy the truth is i dont know how much gatsby cost he really was a gift i just got to pick him out and wait in the liveing room while that stuff was done

| Oh there was a lady one time in my shop, and she says "Oh they're so expensive, my girlfriend got one from online from out of state, they're so much cheaper and they'll fly them in too" I was like I told her, "uh you know those are all puppymill dogs right???"
