I hate people calling my furbaby as "dog" - Page 6 - YorkieTalk.com Forums

I think it's all in the way it's said. Definitely tone and attitude can make the word 'dog' sound harsh.

No, I had never heard of furbaby before. As much as I love my Alfie, he is still a dog but I do understand that some people do see their dog as more of a 'baby'.

We all love our yorkies and as long as they are happy and we are happy, thats all that matters.

I had never heard of furbaby before I came on here...or "DH" for that matter. I get enough of a ration from my friends for having such a small dog (but I don't care). I work in the construction/logging industry, and if I went around saying furbaby, I'd likely take one on the chin. Hahaha!!!
