| Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Lawd - you guys are so wacked ! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I've never used the term 'furbaby because like someone said it's a bit silly (to me personally) no offense ....and it just isn't how I talk - though I do call mine babies when talking to them The reason that word fits so well I think is because they act like freakin toddlers that'll never grow up and ya - they are our babies but I can't see getting offended if they were referred to as a dog - they ARE dogs |

. Be happy & grateful she is healthy & happy - not get all worked up over peoples' choice of vocabulary. She *is*, after all, a dog, and will always be referred to as such

| Donating YT 7000 Club Member | Yeahhhh...that weirds me out a little bit. Furbaby, baby, babies, etc. are fine. but son and daughter...that's a little off the wall for me.

| I know Bailey is a dog, everyone I know also knows Bailey is a dog, lol, but I do treat him like a baby most of the time.

| I call Hugo by his name! Often though I am confused because compared to the other dogs in my life, Hugo behaves like a cat, ferret, everything but what a stereotypical dog is "supposed" to act like. It is so funny because I took him for a walk today in the Fordham section of the BX ( a shopping hub) and people actually asked me if he was a cross between a cat and a dog! I smiled, and being the teacher that I am, commenced educating my fellow bronxites about this wonderful breed! |

One member got upset because her sister was babysittingt with her "daughter" and she walked in to find her sister and sister's boyfrined having S*E*X, and the "daughter" was in the bedroom. OMG I believe she had to take her "daughter" to therapy. Half the people on here were horrified until they realized that she was talking about her D*O*G.

| YT Addict | I don't mind anyone calling Lolli a dog. I mean the only time that ever happens is when someone walks up to her and doesn't know her name but pets her or something they just kinda go "aww such a cute doggie". Sometimes then proceed to ask her name, or sometimes they ask ahead of time. I'd be a little weirded out if anyone ELSE called her 'my baby'. LOL Cuz she's not theirs, she's MINE!!

| I call my animals "my kids, my son, my daughter". Not weird at all to me. Just like some people like to dress their yorkies, others don't... To each their own, as long as we love and take care of them does it matter? Many of my RL friends and family think I'm a wack for even being on YT. "A forum for yorkies???, now that's crazy" lol But I think we all pretty normal here. |

| My husband is always calling the girls 'sweetheart'. It gets confusing sometimes if I am another room and I hear him say 'sweetheart'; I don't know if he is calling for me or one of our babies. |
