| My baby is feelin' his cheerios!! I'm a new Yorkie momma. I've only had Max, who is 5 1/2 months old, since the first of November but I wanted to know if other Yorkies played like mine. Usually in the evenings he gets really frisky and will run up and down the length of my living room which is about 18 feet of running space. Now I'm not talking normal running. He will run as fast as he can and will grab toys with his mouth and growl and pounce and snarl. It is the funniest thing that I have ever seen in my life. It usually lasts for about 15 minutes and then he's ready for some serious cuddle time. Is this normal Yorkie behavior? Does he need some more exercise? Stacey |

| My baby, Charlie does the same thing. We call 6:00-7:30PM his "fiesty time" he runs like a mad-man (mad dog) and growls (he really does not bark yet). He loves if you throw his toys, he runs to get them as fast as he can, brings them back and wants to do it again and again and again...

| This sounds just like what Max does. I take him to my parents house every Sunday after church and he usually puts on a "show" for them in the early afternoon. Stacey |

Inactive Account | That is too funny! My lil girl has burst of energy like that. My husband and I were laughing so hard the first time we experience this. She stopped for a quick second to stare at us...and then jumped up, and continued to run the length of my apartment. Duchess is going on 10 months now and will bring toys to us when she wants to play. On a serious note... because her walks have become shorter now that the winter is here, I try to play with her as much as I can in the evening when i'm home. Fetch is always good...and on really bad days when the weather is just too much-we will run her up and down our long hallway. Afterwards she will nap or lounge around. Hope that eased your thoughts a bit. Mia |

| I appreciate all of the replies to my post. I guess I'm just a new mommy and want to make sure that I'm taking care of my baby in the best possible way. Stacey |

| My yorkie does the same thing. He runs so fast and has too much energy. I should have named him Speedy. He loves to play. He can be running all day long and does not get tired. You never get bored with him. I love my Yorkie. |
