[Mommy of Max]

I'm a new Yorkie momma. I've only had Max, who is 5 1/2 months old, since the first of November but I wanted to know if other Yorkies played like mine. Usually in the evenings he gets really frisky and will run up and down the length of my living room which is about 18 feet of running space.

Now I'm not talking normal running. He will run as fast as he can and will grab toys with his mouth and growl and pounce and snarl. It is the funniest thing that I have ever seen in my life. It usually lasts for about 15 minutes and then he's ready for some serious cuddle time.

Is this normal Yorkie behavior? Does he need some more exercise?
