That is too funny!
My lil girl has burst of energy like that. My husband and I were laughing so hard the first time we experience this. She stopped for a quick second to stare at us...and then jumped up, and continued to run the length of my apartment. Duchess is going on 10 months now and will bring toys to us when she wants to play.
On a serious note... because her walks have become shorter now that the winter is here, I try to play with her as much as I can in the evening when i'm home. Fetch is always good...and on really bad days when the weather is just too much-we will run her up and down our long hallway. Afterwards she will nap or lounge around.
