| Just a random thought. The OP of the Wallace thread, if they are banned, why is their avatar still up?

I have no idea - but she's gone after a few years of constant debating on every site she was on. I'm guessing she finally got tired of always arguing with people (and wanting to sue the world)

| She has not responded to this thread at all once she was "outted". Her last activity was yesterday though, so I know she has read this. Obviously her main objective from this site is to see if anyone is talking about that puppymill, or the one she may work for, or whatever she is.

Firstly, I am not affiliated with them except for buying a pup from them a couple of years ago. They were allowing kennel visits still when I went and got my puppy. And they had nowhere near the dogs they have now.. I went to the web site and counted each pup on the site and it was right around 140ish (it was a couple of days ago I looked). And they didn't used to have that many mixed breeds. they had mainly the poo mixes and some purebreds.I am really surprised by the funky mixes they have now and of course the amount. I loath "puppy mills", or anyone who does not care for their dog, abuse/neglect, etc.. I don't care if it's 1 dog or 800. I feel anything about 50 dogs is to many. I do not support commercial breeders that sell to auctions or pet stores. But I do not have a problem with people making some money from breeding under the right conditions. It is their right. I support small hobby breeders and have bought my yorkies from breeders like that. Anyhow. My main thing I was "trying" to say from the start is that calling a place a puppy mill without visiting, or knowing people who have been there, is just not fair. However, I do feel she has way to many dogs now. And as I am reading other posts I see I am now being judged rather harshly and that is unfair, you don't know me. I had forgotten about this board and found it again when doing some research about yorkies and a health issue. I am not defending puppy mills, I tend to side on the side of the breeder until there is proof because i have seen some very bad things happen to people I know who breed and only have a few dogs. Lives turned upside down. and I mean to people who are not puppy mills. PS: I have been sick with the flu for the last few days and so I haven't been online. Karla Wa State

| I apologize for comment. Everyone is entitled to opinion, but to be fair we didn't know hole stories. Can you explain your hobby breeding? Sorry but am still suspicious.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | That makes sense. The site really was way out there and people tend to get very passionate about people mass breeding. Especially with the many mixed breeds and the totally off the wall FAQS page. Most of the time - the dogs are not kept in humane conditions if the people running these places won;t let anyone see them - that happened with Brushy Creek Kennels and I was there PERSONALLY - I actually did a big post about them here and it took off with legs running ! After reports from all over the country due to the post on YT many people came forward and they were investigated by FOX news - it was GREAT !! (inside edition (tv show) even picked up the story) - all that is still somewhere on the site but I'm too lazy to go back in time OF course they were outted by investigators and low and behold - a real puppy mill - but of course the owner claimed he wasnt. |

| Mini St Bernard? Oh Golly Lolly! Luckily in Australia we don't have such a dangerous amount of dog mill. Momma, can you explain hobby breeding? Thank you in advance.

You can be suspicious as long as your not closed minded. However, I have nothing to lie about. What do you want to know about my breeding program? I can tell you I am not breeding hybrids. I have been breeding cockapoos for many years. I have 3 female cockapoos and 1 male. I am breeding to help make them a recognized breed, which takes a very long time and lots of documentation. I started The american cockapoo club about 5 years ago for that very purpose, AKC requires breed clubs to help establish a new breed. Cockapoos are not a "designer breed", they have been bred on purpose since the late 50's but nobody bothered with working at making them a breed until the last 10 years. I breed cockapoo to cockapoo, 2nd and 3rd generation right now and working toward 3rd and 4th generation. I have a program that keeps track of all history of each dog, each pup and each litter born. My pups are usually sold before they are even born, and some before I even breed one of my girls. All of my dogs trace back to AKC lines. I research the pedigree's and health testing done on the parents of the dogs I buy, as well as the ones I own before I ever breed them. I only breed 3 times a year and my girls have no more than 3-4 litters in their lifetime. My next litter I am doing a breeding hoping for a nice male like Ripley so I can replace him in my breeding program. He always has beautiful puppies but I want another brown or brown and white parti. So I mainly breed when I am going to "retire" one of my girls or looking to add another. We used to have more girls and I felt more comfortable with only 3. I do not have a kennel, my dogs sleep on my bed or on the floor in my room. I do not believe in breeding all these mixes. If one is working toward a new breed fine. But like north country, so many are doing it for the demand and just the money. BUT, there are more of us out there that are good, reputable breeders not just out there for the almighty bucks..But we get looped in with PM's and BYB's.. Anyhow I have babbled again.. Hope that helps you to understand me better. Please take a look at my profile, I have added pictures of my dogs, and us.
