| ![]() Capone is 100% potty trained (I think, lol). So he will help the new baby know not to go in the house. I am moving in a few weeks and thought that would be a good time to get the new baby so Capone wouldn't feel like the other is invading his space since the place will be new to him too.

| ![]() I thought having one, Zander, was ok, then I brought home Jazzie, he came alive and played and played. I thought 2 was great, then I brought home Lexie ![]() ![]()

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | ![]() I think 2 play with each other and keep each other company. So I would vote yes for a second one; of course, I would suggest a Biewer for your 2nd (or 3rd or 4th--you get the idea.) |

Also, Meg is house-trained on pee pads. Do dogs mind sharing pee pads?

| ![]() I had one Yorkie pup age 4 months, and added a new puppy about a month after he came home. All the same reasons you mention. The new one was a 5 month old Yorkie Poo, who we'd also loved when we visited the shelter. We figured since they had lived together before, it would be harmony and bliss from the get-go. Well, it wasn't all harmony and bliss, hahah...I even thought I'd made a terrible mistake. But a few weeks later, (now they are age 6 m and age 7 m) it is basically really cute, pleasant chaos here. I love having two, it is really not much more work than one. We still have some rough spots, but the joy and fun of having two far outweighs any negative. You've got my vote. |

| ![]() OMG, I should stay away from posts like this. I swore I would stop at two. And where does one get a Biewer, anyway? I was just reading about them last night, they are somewhat fascinating. |

| ![]() Our second was a little difficult. Of course, Cooper came with her little "bag of issues". ![]() |

Yes.... I jsut do'nt want to bite off more than I can chew. I have a girlfriend with a small dog who is a real terror... and he's not getting along with her new baby, so they are thinking of rehoming him. It's just so sad. I guess in their case it has more to do with lack of training and general temperament of the dog, but Meg is PERFECT with babies and kids (although I'll have to work on her barking) and I would hate to have my second dog not be that same personality/temperament. Does that make sense?

| ![]() our 2nd furbutt is a rescue puggle. Shes a bit agressive and has a few other issues but her and Pann seem to be a great mix. We have to spend more time fixing what someone else did, like the aggression with food and towards space and I think she might have been hit =( but were working on her issues and having Pann first really helps. They compete with each other and want to do everything right to make us happy so they complement each other very nicely. butt it does help that she is only 3 months old. (pann is 4 months) |

| ![]() Proof that 2 is better than 1. I just snapped this pic now. They are totally hugging each other while they nap. ![]()
