Oh my God... so precious!!! This makes me want to get another RIGHT NOW.

Speaking of which, I have been doing some research on rescues in my area. It's so hard because of the language barrier (I live in Korea). I just found out that a friend of a friend's Yorkie had puppies.... total backyard breeder, but those pups will still need loving homes. I hope I can get more details soon. She said the dam had 8 puppies. Isn't that a huge litter for a Yorkie?

Meanwhile, I thought DH was really warming up to the idea of two, but last night he said "No way!" again. Hmmm.... I think I might pull the "But you'll be deployed for Valentine's Day AND my birthday this year. Give me a dog!"

P.S. I love the name "Violet" for a new dog. What do you think?

It's sort of like being a mom actually. You still have a heart for your first one, but you'll develop a similar love for the second one. I just got my second one early this month, and I love love love my first yorkie. But you start to care and love for the second one just as equally. I haven't had the experience where I favored one of them more then the other. So for me it wasn't hard.

You can't help but love the both all at the same time.

This is exactly what I wondered when I was contemplating getting a 2nd... I loved Zander so much, how could I possibly have room in my heart for another.... well, the heart DOES have room for more

. Jazzie made her way into our hearts .....a yr.& some time later, came Lexie... we love all 3 for their different personalities, their certain sweetness

. Suprisingly they are very calm, loungy yorkies, through out the day there are bursts of energy and it is fun to watch them play and get rowdy.

The breeder I got Louis from said "Yorkies are like potato chips, you can't have just one."

I would like to get another one, too!

We just added #2 to our house. Although there are challenges it is totally worth it. Jealousy is our biggest problem. We got Bella thinking that PC would be happy having a playmate while I am gone. It hasn't worked so far but I am still hopefull. When I am gone PC cries at the door or on the couch until I return, it drives my wife crazy.

Interesting! How old are your dogs? Is Bella a puppy or adult dog? My dog is very jealous and won't let any other dogs sit in my (or any) lap, so I have wondered about jealousy, too. I think she'd adjust well, but it has crossed my mind that she might not like having to share her mom and dad with another dog.

Prince Chaming is 7.5 months old, we got Bella just over a week ago she is now about 10 weeks. Part of the trauma to Prince may be that we got Bella on Sunday. He got nuetered on Tuesday.
