I'd love to get another dog now though. We'd have a solid 9-10 months of training and consistency before we move to America. Of course, I work full time here, and that's not ideal for a new puppy.
And what I really want to know is how hard might it be to go from having 1-2 fur-babies then adding a skin-baby to the mix?

Sounds fun to me. It doesn't take that long for it to become second nature. Once you hav e your routine down with the pups, having a real baby will not be overly complicated, I mean the dogs won't be the things complicating it.
