Where does your yorkie sleep?

If I were single I might let Edgar sleep with Mommy. However, I sort of cherish my "alone time" with Daddy. So he sleeps on the floor in our bedroom(in the bed that used to be the cat's). He has only peed once in there on a pee-pad I had for puppy emergency use on the tile. Now I don't need the pad. We're a happy family!

Tigger sleeps in bed with my boyfriend and I. He has since the first night we got him at 10 weeks old. we put his bed between our pillows and give him a soft toy to chew on, and we have an industrial paper clip that we connect to the top of our headboard with his leash. we give the leash enough slack to allow Tigger to get to the end of his bed but no further. Whenever he would move or make a sound we would take him outside. The first couple of nights we didn't do the whole leash bit, and he had a couple pee accidents in bed, but then we got smart and did the leash bit. He's never been in his crate really but on his terms, and one other time that we tested out.

Snickers sleeps in our room with Sky and Jasmine on the floor at the foot of the bed. Its a maze if you have to get up during the night for any reason.

lexi sleeps with her mommy, me. she has to make sure she touches me.

Baili starts out going to bed with us, then jumps down and sleeps under the
bed until about 4:00 in the am. We hear this little yip and we pick her up
and back in bed with us! My husband was the one who brought her to bed
with us the first night she cried. She was about 14 weeks old. She has only
had one accident in our bed and that was in the very beginning. SHe is
14 days shy of 2 years old!

We sleep in Princess's king size bed.
She takes up all the room for being so small.
It's nice of her to share with us.
She let us know from day one, only 12 weeks old,
She's the Princess of the house, and it's going
to be her way all the way. She's now 2
and things haven't changed.

Jo and Riley both sleep in the bed but, for now, Riley is still in his kennel...the bed is king sized so there's plenty of room. Jo sleeps all night and now that Riley is down to one potty break at about 6:30 a.m. I'll take him out of the kennel. To be honest...me and my husband get up more than the boys do but we try not to disturb them...maybe I should quit drinking that big glass of water right at bedtime

Bia sleeps with me in my bed at night, she will not have it any other way!!..She also can jump off and on my bed to use the pee pad I have in the room for her, but most of the time she sleeps through the night. I have read that yorkies will keep their sleeping space clean I dont know if thats true, but it seems to be with Bia.

My husband and I were just talking about this the other day. All the boys sleep on the bed plus the 2 cats! We were joking that we're going to get an extra twin bed and put it next to our king size bed and them maybe that will be enough? But I know, that Jack and I would probably be the ones on the twin bed ...

Bender sleeps in bed with us. We never had a problem with him peeing on the bed except in the beginning. We found out the problem was that the mattress was pretty nasty (it was from the person in the apartment before us), and I guess he was smelling all the old smells and thinking he need to refresh them. Once we got a new mattress we didn't have a problem. If there's a problem with the puppy getting on and off the bed for pottying and you still want him to be able to sleep with you, then there is always the option of doggy stairs/ramp up to the bed.

Bailey has slept with me in bed, since the day I got him, I have never had a problem with him going. When he was too little to jump, he would whine, so I knew it was time to go out. Now if he jumps off the bed, I know he has to go out. I will say he is a HOGGER, in the bedroom.

Both of my yorkies have slept with me since the night they came home, not once did I have an accident. Having them in the bed was like having a new born baby, as soon as they woke up I'd wake up and if they looked like they wanted to potty I rushed them to the potty pads. They are both 1yr old now and sleep comfortably through the night. I think you should let your yorkie sleep with you and give it a try, I am sure you will all sleep comfortably

Miko has two doggie beds that he used to alternate sleeping in at night. Ever since he was operated on for his liver shunt (a few months ago, right after his 1st birthday) he has slept with us on our bed. He sleeps on my head, between my head and my husband's head, or curled up around my neck. He's so absolutely sweet! We also put an ottoman at the foot of the bed so he can get up and down in case he needs to go potty on his pad or if he wants to sleep on his beds for a little while.

Both of ours sleep with us in bed at night but they are 7 and 8 months old.

Dudley has slept in our bed since the day we brought him home. My husband wouldn't think of making him sleep in his crate. He never had an accident in the bed, even though he was only 12 weeks old.
