My two go night night at 8pm, they have their own kennel and the little one, Lacey, will head for bed without my help. She gets so tired, it is so cute to see her try to keep her little eyes pried open without success. Chloe would sleep with us if she could,but this is what we started from day one and neither one has whined ever so I'm not rocking the boat. They have me all day and I like being able to toss and turn, get up or watch late night TV without bothering them, they are in the den. They don't potty until morning, even though they have pee pee pads outside their crate if they need them.

Codie and Katie sleep in my bed right smack in the middle of me and Jim. Codie ALWAYS sleeps under the covers and Katie sleeps on my pillow. But on very cold days, Katie will sleep under the covers right next to Codie. I have had them sleep in my bed since the first day I brought them home. I can't fall asleep unless they're right next to me.

Lilly sleeps in our king size bed, right in the middle, between Charlie and me. She has since we brought her home at 7 weeks.

Where does Jewel sleep? Anywhere she damn well pleases! LOL Usually Jewel snuggles up on her "blankie" that is on our sofa. Sometimes she'll join us in bed, but she's usually on the sofa.

Mine sleep with me and my husband. That's why I enjoy when he's working nights...anyway, can't give any advice!

Kelsey sleeps in her crate next to our bed. When we first got her we tried to put her in the family room next to our room, but she'd know we were in the room and would howl and cry all night for hours. So we finally gave in (sortve) and let her sleep in the same room as us..but not in our bed...only when im home alone is when she sleeps in my bed

Aww...how cute the little one Lacey goes to bed on her own..I could just picture that...

Bella sleeps in her crate in our room... she would NEVER get to sleep or let us sleep if we let her in our bed! I would love to snuggle with her... but she is just everywhere all the time.... wiggle wiggle wiggle......maybe when she is older! At 14 weeks she just doesn't get the "going to bed" thing!

Sailor usually sleeps with me and is my total cuddlebug...while Magic sleeps with my mom...they have slept with us since they were little and usually get up to go outside once during the night !!! But I wouldn't have it any other way.....

Zoe sleeps in bed with us...but now that she has pups she sleeps with them....although I have caught her in bed with us since the pups were born....I think she misses us...

Let's see.........Simon and Hallie have a nice big queen size bed they let me sleep in

With tons of blankets and pillows of course! Simon can't sleep if he isn't touching me so usually he has his head on my leg or wrapped around my foot and Hallie sleeps on my head (literally)!

ok, don't get me wrong or think i'm trying to impose...
but um, how does having all the animals in your bed work for *cough* those intimate moments? do you utilize other areas of the house?
i just can't imagine kissing my husband on the pillow and edgar licking my ear at the same time...

All 6 of my dogs sleep in crates in my bedroom. When they were puppies until about 4-5 months, they slept in the kitchen in an x-pen.

Trixie is crate trained. But because my husband was gone for a while and Trixie got spayed and was so sad, she slept in my bed for a couple of nights. I loved it, because she wouldn't cry at 5:30am to go out. My husband wants her in her crate, so I've been putting her back in her crate again. The first few nights she cried a lot, but now she's getting used to it again. And when she cries early in the am, I take her out and put her in our bed for the last hour or so. I am having no problem with her pottytraining while in the bed. She stays in bed as long as I am.

My husband will be leaving again for a few months, and winter is coming. So I think I might actually put her back in my bed.

I am afraid I am confusing her a little.
