![]() Just an update for everyone an a little more info on what has happened, so those who feel free to attack me even though they are not on my shoes can understand; I released ownership of the puppy last week on friday since then I've been checking back with the vet, who by the way he is not in the same pet shop is a hospital that the pet shop sends you to in oder for them to pay the bills f you go somewhere else you have to pay out of pocket, been that I was no longer the owner of Lucas because I had released ownership back to the pet shop I was calling the vet everyday to see how he was doing, the reason why I release ownership was because of the lemon law if something would have happened to Lucas while in the Hospital apparently after 14 days the pet shop was not liable so I release ownership and continued to check up on him so that before he was released I would take him back been that I was also still waiting for my check. On wednesday they called me to let me know that they had he check and that I could go pick it up or I can just go pick up Lucas and they would cancel the check, before anything I had spoken to my personal Vet and he advised me to have Lucas get a Chest xray before taking him back to make sure he had no lung problems due to the pnemonia I proceeded to call the vet to ask them if they had a chest xray and they said that I had no authority to ask for one since I was not the owner I then called the pet shop and told them that I wanted to see a chest xray before taking Lucas back, she called the vet and they agreed to do one. He was about to go to the pet shop on wednesday but they decided to leave him there for the xray I called all of thursday and friday an no one called me back on Saturday was when I was on my way to pick him up and I called the shop and their answer was that the vet had said that apparently the xrays where fine but he had stopped eating again so they had to give him Iv fluids again and she continued to say I suggest you just come and pick up your check..

![]() I am sorry to have attacked you. Please know that my love for animals sometimes gets in my way of the human factor. This was a terrible situation that you were placed in by the pet store. We had bought a Schnauzer from a breeder once. Frisky was a cute puppy and well behaved. Then she started acting strange. We took her to the vet and it turned out her skull did not cover her entire head. After countless vet visits Frisky had to be put down. The vet told us that it didn't matter how long it had been, we needed to alert the breeder who was in another state about the matter and demand a refund and for her to reimburse us for the vet bills. She eventually did, but I knew even though Frisky's life was short, we made her comfortable and loved her in our home and hearts. I really couldn't imagine giving up Frisky when she needed us the most. Anyway, that is where I was coming from and I do hope you can continue to give us updates on Lucas. Yorkies are wonderful companions and love unconditionally. Sincerely, Sonya

![]() I'm sorry. I realize people react differently. Many think I'm over the top when it comes to animals, I'm a nut case. When I acquire one, it's mine. The love is there immediately. And after I've held it, forget it. I couldn't give it up. I can't watch animal shelter ads on TV. My heart breaks for each and every one, and I can't quit thinking about it. So call me crazy. Some people do. I suppose the woman did the "sensible thing" I'm not a sensible person when it comes to animals. Tucker's Mom
