For the love-of-Pete! How in God's green earth can you KNOW a dog is missing. SEE a tiny dog drinking from a puddle and not STAY WITH THE DOG until people have been notified? I am just Godsmacked by this odd behavior. And now the little dog isn't there anymore. Geeez! I think I'd get that dog to come to me even if I had to crawl on my belly like a snake. OK Linda, calm down. Not everybody is as dog smitten as YT'ers. Breathe

It's calls to Gen like this that make me think it might be Cookie. Why would someone call her and then leave? Don't be naive people. Start thinking like the bad guys think. Would you want to be caught with this dog after dropping him and then phoning in a 'tip'? I don't think so Tim.

I hope she looks hard for this little one. Might be a happy ending coming.

KFC chicken strips - get them. This was advice given to me to entice a lost and hungry dog. The smell is very strong and very yummy.

Still no word from Gen so that keeps me hopeful. What an emotional roller coaster this has been for her family. Well, the celebration will be festive when we all are able to exhale and make a toast to Cookie.

Yep, just the other week I had to crawl on my tummy like a snake to coax a little Chihuahua puppy out from under a car outside. I printed off flyers, and while I was hanging them up, the owner approached me. I can't understand why someone else wouldn't do the same. Especially with a little toy breed dog.

I really, really hope that this lead is "the one" and Gen finds Cookie. Lord knows she deserves it after the endless hours of searching she has done. She has put forth SO much effort, and I'd love to see Cookie home with her for Christmas.
