I find it strange that they don't scen unless they're asked. Mt ver scans every single patient at every appointment, old or new. He scans MINE everytime I take any one of them in, and I have been taking my pets there for the last 10 years, and they have been his patients all their lives. Thry say it's protocol. It's not always because it might be a stolen pet, but also because sometimes the chip stops working, so vets need to check them periodically to make sure that the chip is still good.

Can your husband ask the kids if they saw the dog? Have you guys talked to the guy already? I would keep an eye open next time the girlfriend shows up. when you see her and she denies having found a dog, you might wanna mention Cookie's livershunt situation somehow. You never know.

Oh Gen, I'm feeling so impatient, I just want Cookie in your arms RIGHT RIGHT NOW! This is killing me!!! :'(

Gen, you are doing an incredible job at searching for your baby Cookie. I just KNOW that you will find her...keep the faith!! I am going to be sooo happy when i can sign on here and see a post from you saying Cookie has been found!!

Gen, I am so sorry to hear that your baby is missing. I can't even imagine what you much be going through. I am praying for his safe return. Your video had me in tears. Keep passing those flyers out and don't give up hope. I believe that you will find him.

There was a member here who's Yorkie was missing for several weeks and she received a phone call from someone who found her several blocks away. The person was taking excellent care of her baby and when he found out someone was looking for her (I believe he finally saw a flyer that was posted), he gave her back even though he had fallen in love with her.

There are a lot of good people out there who will be on the lookout for him thanks to the effort that you are putting out. Best of luck to you and thank God for people like Bettyeann who have such big hearts!

Police are coming to my home. The only thing I have not done is call 911. But today one of my daughter's teachers called me and told me to call the cops.
I called and the operater was saying "Well how do you know he was stolen? did you see who stole it?" I told her no that I had seen them I would have chased them or something. I told her that I have 4 dogs total and I have metal Xpen gates so they would have to make it through two gates to escape. Itold her he is the only one missing and he is a very expensive dog.To me he is priceless but we paid over $2,000 for him. I told her if you saw him , you would know he was worth a lot and Ive had many people ask...
So she finally told me that the cops were in between shifts and they would have an officer here within 45 min.

I called the news station in west palm beach and left a message but I got about 12 of their reporters emails and emailed them a letter of desperation, grief and urgency due to his illness.

All their pages said " If you have a story idea, email me"
So I emailed all of them plus sent them these photos. I pray that one of them calls me to do a story. Iwill drive the 50 miles if Ihave to, to get the word out.

you are doing so great at searching, i also have high hopes for cookie! I think he will return home because of all you have done to search, you guys are very loving im so sad that this had to happen but i have high hopes!

I think Cookie may have been seen on Sunday about 6 blocks from here. My daughter has been talking to the kids around here and given them flyers.One girl told her that she seen a tiny little dog that walked weird and she said it was deffinately a yorkie and she called out Cookie's name, the little dog started walking toward her but heard a sound of a car and took off :(
The reason I think it was him is because Cookie has a limp once in a while. He has Luxating pattela (spelling?) So if he's been sitting or walking too long he carries his left leg up.
I am praying " Oh God" I just feel he is nearby . The flyers were'nt put in that direction until almost 2 days later. We kept putting flyers through all the blocks behind us and in front of us.

I drove almost 100 miles today going to vet clinics,petshops, pet supply stores talking to anyone and begging them to please scan a new pet

One neighbor tonight gave me a good idea. She said that she's seen my flyers everywhere because she knows thats what they are because she has a flyer herself but they are small 8X11 ... I should get those signs for like Garage sales? That youstick in the grass and put Missing Yorkie in BIG bold letters. So I'm going to get at least 6-8 of them. They are $4 ea so as soon as funds are available in the morning I'm going straight toWalmart to get them and put them ASAP.I keep checking to see but they update by 10am or 11 am !!
My 13 yr daughter is starting to feel the pain and sadness. She was in tears today telling me " I cant believe he's still not here" She went out with me tonight to put more flyers on mailbox sides. I was so happy because she hates going out with me unless I'm getting her something! She told me " I want to go with you and help" We drove around and we heard a small dog bark and she kept telling me " Go back and look" we went in circles because there are a lot of dead end streets. But I finally found the barking little dog and it was a Chi Hua hua

The cops came today. It was a female cop. She made a report, gave us a case # and told us she was going to the houses directly behind us since it seems the only way he got out or was taken.

I dont know if this feeling is a phase but I just feel like he is coming home and its taking him a little bit longer to get to me. I honestly feel he is very near by.

oh Gen, you made my night by this post. I know he will be with you soon. Please don't lose hope. And keep looking. Since he was seen walking around, maybe you should focus a bit more on looking in the bushes. Maybe he's just hiding in the bush, or tucked in a hole. Go walk around and call his name. Oh, how I wish I could be there to walk with you!!!!!
