keep hope I started reading this post from the very beginning, i hoped and hoped that when i got to this last 52nd page there would be good news and a happy ending... i wanted so badly for your yorkie to have made it home... I am so sorry. You will be in my prayers. You have kept up hope this long and i just pray that all your searching and praying and crying, and pain and everything will pay off and you will be reunited with your little cookie... please dont give up, he must be out there somewhere, he just has to be. I keep replaying the situation in my head and i just dont understand it. If someone took cookie then your other dogs would have barked when they saw them. my sister suggested that maybe the person just opened the gate and took which ever one ran out. But i dont see that as being possible. even the bird coming down and taking your dog, i dont see how that is possible because the dogs would have barked at a bird, or something... i dont know. i just know that i was really hoping you would find your dog and i am still hoping. I know how bad you feel trust me. i just lost a dog in october, but to death :( so i understand. the only differance is that you still have hope and your dog is still out there alive some where. I have always stood firm to the belief that if you lose someone you love (truly lose them, like gone forever) you would be able to feel it deep within your heart. you are still fighting to find your dog so i am certain that you have not lost him, because if you had your heart would know! so keep looking, he is out there and he is waiting for you. just hopefully he doesn get to friendly with the new family.... i will keep you in my prayers |

I saw that ad. Nope not my Cookie. Cookie's nose is way smaller and his ears are totally erect. Cookie is neutered. You are right some people have no idea the difference. Gen |

One thing I will say this experience has assured me of a couple of things. I will NEVER , EVER let a dog go out to potty unless I am not right there in front of them. I am getting a GPS flatrate tracker. You can attach it to a harness and get their location on your cell phone or computer. They have others that have a monthly fee like $15 But there is another that is a flat price and you never have to pay a monthly fee. In my opinion , its worth it. If a person takes your dog, they will not know what that is on them and you have a few minutes to track them quickly using your cell phone or computer. The yorkie that was surrendered to me on Saturday is doing well here. I take him to the foster adoption center on Wednesday. He is a very good dog and will do great with someone who wants to give 1 pet a ton of affection. He is very needy and always wants to be on my lap and he's not a little guy either! I just didnt want to think that he would be taken to animal control or something like that. Its funny to see him. He pushes the others out of the way to get my attention but acts like he's a baby and he thinks he's a little guy lol. Yesterday was the first time that I fell completely knocked out on the sofa with this Yorkie named Jasper. I have not been able to sleep the whole night in 3 weeks so I am thankful for that. Tomorrow I am going to put up fresh fliers in main streets here and use the listening device and walk around the neighborhood some Gen |

Geb read this. Dont give up hope. Found Sweet Dog/REUNITED! Found Sweet Dog/REUNITED Tonight around 11 pm on my way home from work I found a dog walking along cleveland avenue, in between Morse and 161. She is very sweet. I got out of the car and she hopped right in. I brought her home and she is safe but I can not keep her for long as my dogs are not happy and I have a large family of kids and animals already. She is longer haired with an adorable little face. pretty brown eyes and knows sit...constantly wags her tail. She is well trained and soo soo soo friendly. Her paws are really furry long curly ears..she has on a collar...tell me what it looks like...it's unique. She is mostly brown and black but also has tan and white. I don't think she's been out very long as she's not real dirty..just had dirty feet. She was thirsty but not hungry. I can keep her warm, loved and happy for a day or two..but I have to call the pound soon and I don't want to do this..she's just too precious. Call me 24/7 UPDATE!!!!!!!! I have to update..the power of the owner/dog bond is incredible. This precious doggies Mama who was one of the sweetest people you would ever meet..spent hours driving all over the neighborhood, calling out to her dog. She heard her and began barking hysterically around 230 in the morning! We woke up and found Mama coming up our drive because she heard her barking...Amazing that they were reunited this way!!! They were talking to each other! So happy for her family!!! |

If you don't mind me asking, do you have a link for where you can get a GPS for your dog? Jackson is microchipped, but I know it's not a tracker. It sounds like a great idea to have it on a collar or harness for him. |
