No, no I didn't mean your judging. I was referring to the "race" thing. I absolutely understand what you are saying. I agree I don't want to see her hurt also. She should definitely go with someone. I really don't know how busy their police dept. is. But I don't think that if she sees this kid with the dog, then calls police, God knows how long they would take to get there, and the opportunity might be gone. |
This will be my last post on this topic and then I will get back to what we all should be doing...supporting Gen. A few months ago a lady was found living in the backyard of a man that kidnapped her in 91. Her name is Jaycee Duggard.Over the years the cops were called to the home several times to investigate someone living in the backyard and found nothing strange. Well hello Captain Obvious! I would only call the cops AFTER I was sure I knew who had Cookie. |
I quit coming to this site 4 years ago because of the crazy women who seem to have nothing to do but become instigators. STOP IT! Grow up and just be a supportive person. If you don't like what was said-skip it. Why do you feel you must spew everything that comes into your brain. Be helpful not hurtful. Please think about what you are saying before you say it. Anyone can read Gen's posts and tell she was not being racial or hateful--they was no mal intent--quit trying to make something it's not. If you need drama in your life go watch reality TV. This poor woman has enough to deal with without trying to justify her words right now. No need for offenders to reply to this email-I quit again and have learned my lesson. So sorry things haven't changed. |
I really hope and pray that Cookie is found today. |

Gen, I feel your pain and from what I've read you've done everything you could possibly do to bring Cookie back home to you and I pray you succeed but, please do not do anything that could risk harm to you!;) The last thing you need is to be shot by someone protecting what may actually be their dog or worse yet...a charge of dog-theft...not worth the risk in my book. Will be thinking positive thoughts for Cookie's safe return to your loving arms!:animal36  Jo Ann |

Sure hoping it's Cookie!! Prayers!!! |
I have read all the posts here. There are hundreds of replies. I never expected for everyone to have the same opinion or not to question me. Like I said before some people will argue or tell you what you are doing is wrong. But when it comes down to it, people care here in YT and I will continue to say that. I do not want to call cops without at least seeing this dog in the street being walked. I know my dog a block away. I am NOT going alone. My husband is a big,big bodybuilder guy and he is going. I am also putting it in my head that it may not be him and it's a coincidence that this girl just happen to get an adult tiny yorkie within the past week. It is excruciating to imagine that your baby is super close by but you have to wait and be patient. I literally slept 3 hrs, went to bed at 3 am with a migraine and woke up at 6 am Unless you have been on this horrible rollercoaster ride, could you possible understand. The cops will be called, trust me but I cant cry wolf saying that I think this is it.Then maybe it's not . Then if I really have concrete proof the cops will not be too eager to help. I will continue updating. I dont want this thread shut down. You guys don't understand how I need to come back here every few hrs to get support and be around people who understand that these little animals are like kids to us. Thank you, Gen |
I'm checking every hour or so waiting to hear your good news. Positive vibes going out to you. |
You have not left my thoughts or prayers... ((huggs)) ~Denise |
Whew! What a rollercoaster of emotions! I am sure you will know your dog if you see him. And if it's a child walking him, I wouldn't hesitate to approach the child and demand him back. Children are usually more honest than adults, and if this child knows the dog was "found" instead of bought, she might be likely to hand him over if you say he's yours. There is really no ideal way to handle this situation. The police will not get involved if they don't know these people have your dog, and the only way for you to know is to see him. If you exercise restraint after actually seeing your dog in the possession of someone else, and wait until you can get police there, I will be amazed. I know I wouldn't have the strength. Prayers for you to get your baby back. And I know you'll keep us updated. |
