I didn't get to check here all weekend but it's the first thing I did when I got into work. It breaks my heart that poor little cookie isn't home yet. I thought about you all weekend. I sure do hope things get better for you and your family. Are there side walks or other concrete things around your yard, maybe even some furniture? Sorry if this sounds gruesome but maybe check them for blood, if a hawk did snatch him up that might be a good clue. PLEASE COME HOME COOKIE WE ALL MISS YOU! |
I have been watching this post several times a day and feel so sorry for you situation. I pray that Cookie will be home in your arms very soon. Just a thought... Have you tried an animal communicator? I was on the fence with this idea before but has proven to help. My daughter would take her horse out during the early evening hours and he would always act up. She discovered that her horse had some visual perception issues and needed to be reassured when walking down the trail by her talking to him as well as he wanted to eat first and ever since then he has been a delight for her to ride. I did rescue work and had several fosters. my dogs told the communicator that it was too much for them and so I decided not to foster anymore and a new calm came over my home. We also had a dog that got out of a foster home and we talked to a communicator to locate her. The communicator described the path at which she took and suddenly the image went black the family followed the path that the communicator told them and unfortunaly the did find blood at the area where the communicator said everything went black. It was suspected that a coyote was there. I am not telling you this to worry you but to give you hope. Maybe he is in someones home and a communicator can lead you to him and if it is not good news as you mentioned in a previous post it would allow you the grieve and move on. I again am so sorry for you and your family. I read your posts and cry with you. I feel your pain through your words. I pray he will find his way home. |
Gen, I've been checking back here a couple times a day with hope that you've got Cookie back. I can't even imagine the pain you're feeling. I've had my yorkie for about 3 months and I couldn't imagine this happening to him, so I can't even come close to feeling what you are feeling. I pray everyday for Cookies safe return home. I wish I could give you a big hug!!!! Don't give up. Hes out there somewhere and hes thinking about you too. |
Your family and cookie are in our prayers and thoughts always. Let's all pray for a holiday miracle.:hands: |

I drive block by block every morning driving 5 mph scanning all the roads, looking at people walking their pets and talking to them. Gen Trust me yesterday I went into the neighbors yard that no longer lives there. I got soaked but I lifted every bucket, branch...anything |
Come home Cookie, still praying for your safe return. |
Gen, I keep checking for updates. I'm sorry that you don't have any good news yet. Hang in there...Max and I are still praying for you. We're sending hugs your way. I read you last post, I'm sorry that your daughter had to go through that. Kids can be so mean. |
OMG I found this and I never seen it before 3 Attachment(s) I go out every morning looking. This afternoon I went back to my yard and checked every single board on our fence.I have some plants and could not see until I moved them with my hand and found this broken board! OMG it is the house directly behind us. Their yard is fenced also but I dont know if they have any holes. They have big dogs! But their dogs were not outside that day and I would have heard the comotion.I took a picture. I know if I can fit myfist through that hole that Cookie can also fit. My fist is way bigger than his head. In fact his head is probably the size of a large lemon. I snapped a picture. The folks behind us are renters and have people constantly in and out visiting. I dont know what to think now! Gen First pic shows the opening I found today! 2nd Pic shows part of the view from my kitchen. 3rd pic shows the spot where I found the opening. I put a blue pawprint in the area |
I keep checking in for updates and praying for good news. I hope your discovery will lead to Cookie! Have you talked to these neighbors yet? |

Is it possible that someone visiting that day has Cookie. I would knock on their door and inquire. Maybe they don't know it's their neighbor's dog. Cookie's head is the size of a large lemon? I'm trying to visulize that. How tiny she is. OMG. |
Have you spoken to these neighbors at some point during your search? |
Praying for Cookie & you Oh Gen, Your backyard looks so secure. Bless your heart. I can see why you were very comfortable with their safety. I'm continuing to pray you find Cookie:( |
Omi-goodness! Cookie must have slipped out that hole! |

I just texted my husband and he is fixing that today. Our other dogs have not been allowed outside since this happened 2 weeks ago. I either go and sit outside for a few minutes and I am very paranoid with their every move. This has caused me to be paranoid with mydaughters also.Constantly telling them to be careful. Gen This is him after a bath |
my little boy could easily fit through that hole he weighs almost 4lbs. I keep checking in for updates everyday, I feel for you I know what it feels like to lose part of yourself. |
