I understand that you may have questions...but right now Gen shouldn't have to answer them. Hindsight is always 20/20. I feel that you asking these questions right now may lead to her blaming herself for something and that is not necessary. She is understandably going through enough. She has many supporters here on YT and we are all concerned about Gen and Cookie's safe return. If it were my dog, I would be doing exactly what Gen is doing. Do you really think the police are going to sit and wait for the girl to walk the dog? Do you think they can really get a search warrant to search her house? Really, what harm can be done if Gen just goes to see if its her dog? Honestly, I've never felt the need to post a response such as this one until now. It really bothers me that you would ask or say these things when what Gen needs right now is positive thoughts and support. Gen... I wish you the best of luck today. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that its Cookie! Please continue to keep us updated.

| ![]() oh, i pray that this is cookie... i actually can't imagine anyone wanting a reward, lol. it would be so awesome to just return the dogs to their owners. that would be wild if the little girl did pick him up, that would be a little like the one YTer's dream about kids having him. ![]() i think it was totally relevant noticing the race in this instance.. especially if it's not the dominant race for that neighborhood... that would totally make the connection that it may be the same house, and family. and i applaud all the wonderful yorkietalkers who give positive support and love in situations like this. we'd all want the same if it were our babies who were missing. ![]() |

I've known what goes on in the streets for about 26 years. Our society today is not like it was 20 years ago and people are scared. You don't know what someone might have in their homes and to take unnecessary risks under any circumstance is dangerous. With all the stories on the news from Florida, everyone is scared. Missing children and what people are capable of doing to their own families is horrible. The only reason I posted was because depending on the department in the city, the human society works out of police department. They are scanned when any animal is pick up and returned straight to the owners. I didn't want her to take matters into her own hands because if any harm comes from trying to remove Cookie from her and she hurt, Gen will have other legal problems to deal with. Sorry I upset you but if you've experienced what I've seen maybe you would be looking at this situation in a different light. I won't be on today... off to Chemo. Hope Cookie is returned safe and it's a good outcome. Kathleen... Mom to My Little Girls: Punken Pie and Breese Be Be | |

| ![]() Gen, will continue to keep you and Cookie in my thoughts and prayer's today. Finger's crossed the Yorkie in question is your baby. I wouldn't do a thing until I knew for sure this was Cookie. Don't jebordize any chance of getting her back. I would stay out of site in case they are on to you after getting one of your flyer's. You want that child to walk the Yorkie so you can get a good look at it. If they see you hanging around they won't take her out so be descreet, very descreet. Good luck to you. |

| ![]() I honestly don't think she is just going to go up and snatch the dog not knowing if it is Cookie. If it is Cookie then I say TAKE HIM BACK!!!!! I know exactly what I would do in this sitution. If I saw someone walking MY dog. It is very obvious if it is Cookie than these people have NOT been trying to find the owner, and what I have heard about her posters and such, I don't think it would be hard to find her and give him back. They have no intention on giving him back. They just found a beautiful little doggie!! I honestly don't know how she has the patience to wait it out. I give her credit. I would be sitting in my car a few houses away. Please let this be Cookie and he is returned to her. This is my Christmas wish. Can't wait to come on and see good news. ![]() Everyone please stay positive and don't judge. Say a prayer and let it alone.
