| Your Yorkies tricks I'm wanting NEW trick ideas! Maybe some more unique ones. I'm finding that Jackson picks up on tricks extremely quickly and he's a very quick learner. So I think it'd be fun to have even more tricks to try and work with him on. But besides that, I wanna see what everyone else's Yorkie can do! I think people underestimate the breed far too much. They're smart little guys/gals! Jackson's trick list as of now: -Sit -Down -Stay -Come -Shake -High Five -Ten five (although get gets high 5 and 10 five confused sometimes lol) -Dance -Spin -Roll over -Bang bang you're dead -Crawl I've always wanted to teach him to put a ball in a little basketball hoop, but don't even know how to go about teaching it! Or when you sneeze, and they go get you a tissue, hehe.

| I've had Kaji for 3 whole months (OMG 3 Months already!!!) and he's a bit slow on the tricks. He's just not food motivated. But he does know: -sit -ven (spanish for come) -aqui (spanish for right here) -sube (spanish for up, but I use it when I want him to come sit with me on the couch) -down -up as in sit up, stand up, and up on his hind legs, or up to be picked up -bang bang -"give me paw" (handshake) -up and through an obsticle -through a tunnel -he kinda knows how to weave too. and he just learned shake, not handshake but like when they shake the water off after a bath. He doesn't do it 100% of the time but we're working on it! and these other commands he knows but they're not really tricks are: -"not too far" -"go home" -"all the way" (all the way up the stairs) WOW! He knows more than I thought!

| Hey Brit, we learned touch in obedience class and it's pretty neat. I've taken it and had them do other things with it. Such as as I have them jumping from one surface to another to "touch". Then I will tell them to go over and "touch" daddy and come back to me for their treat. So basically, you can teach them to incorporate their trick to do other tricks. lol In addition to your list: we do jumping thru a hoop, sit pretty, speak (only Hot Rod) , right and left paw. That's about all I can think of right now at this time of night. lol

I usually ask him "give me paw" then I say "the other one." I didn't think he would do it but he does.

| To add to the list: Fetch "Find it" (Hide and seek with a toy) - this is hilarious to watch and a great way to burn off energy. I will grab his fetch toy (once I've gotten tired of fetch), go into another room, pretend to throw it - he chases where he thinks it went and I then turn the corner and toss it in a different direction. When he comes back to me confused because he can not find it, I say - go find your toy - go look! And he takes off running through the house in search of it. And....he is just soooooo proud of himself when he does locate it |

That is all so cool! I've been trying to teach shake (like after getting wet, but I've not been consistent with that ). I guess they do know, Let's go Home. I'll say that when it's time to head home on our walks and they turn around. I would like to start doing more of the agility type of training, but just haven't had the time or energy. Oh, and they do know, "want mommy/daddy to pick you up? this is mainly from when Hot Rod got real tired after his surgery as we started walking with him. When we ask, they will come right up to our legs for us to pick them up otherwise they will just stay as far as their leashes will go. lol.--But then again, who is the one being trained here? lol

I did that with Maggie and her whining. She is such a whiner and she was clicker trained so it was easier to get her to learn to stop whining. I've been lax with it but I can say to her 'ah ah' and she will stop for a short period of time.
