Aww that's good I am glad to see her doing well!! I watch her water bottle vid!! So cute Peanut does the same thing infact if he sees you drinking out of a water bottle he will bark at you until you drink it all and give him the bottle!! I honestly have no clue where he learned that trick!!Aww I wish my peanut would snuggle with me! He is Mr Independet and sleeps in his bed at night... but come 6:00 in the morning who is barking at me scratching at my bed!! Ahh my peanut!! I love the mornings!!

				   | i remeber when gidget and little girl had their terrible fight and gidget lost the use of her eye...the night i took her to the er they wanted to remove her eye $1000 i had no clue how to deal with it financially because all the money was tied up in purchasing a home..so i was distraught and told her that i didnt know how to handle it..and the vets first comment was that she refused to put her to sleep..i was appalled that she made the comment...but i guess alot of ignorant people make that choice and the vet felt she needed to make her stand thank fully i have a loving mother who offered to cover the whole thing until the house stuff cleared...but the next day we took gidget to our regular dr who stated she didnt need surgery at all (but if she did it was only $200) she did lose site in that eye though |

i wish more vets would stand up for their beliefs and not just PTS anything that the pet parents wants to. i'm glad you got your situation worked out and i hope that your pet lives a very long and happy life. | |

| YT Addict | So, I read that you weren't ok with a dog being put down because it attacked ? I nearly had my entire hand taken off by a dog. It had my entire hand in its mouth and was using it like a chew toy. I remember it like it was yesterday. It was gnawing at it, and eating at it. I had to pull at it so hard to get it out. I remember running home with my hand dangling and blood running down. I was in the hospital for weeks, broke bones in my hand, and it got infected. I have the scars on my hand for life to prove it. The owners put the dog down. I guess for fear we'd sue them for not having it on a leash? because it attacked an innocent child? I'm not too sure. I was 5 years old. So, just asking. Do you think this was right or wrong of the owners? Should we have sued? Keep in mind, we're in Canada and this was 1985. (but it could be relevant today) Last edited by DerbyLayne; 10-04-2009 at 09:42 AM. |
