i hate that he might get rehomed again because her family doesn't have the ability to take care of him, why did they get pets to begin with, they have 6 kids total and now a dog and a cat because they think all kids deserve a family pet to care for, but the kids don't care for the pets and the parents fight over how to care for them so it's madness and they have out of control pets. just makes me angry. |
I know this is an older thread, but I wanted to comment on the whole "get the cat declawed duhhhh" part. Declawing is extremely inhumane; it's cutting their fingers off pretty much. This not only takes away one of very few means of defense, but can drastically change a cat's personality. Some declawed cats have serious behavioral problems ie: they stop using the litter box, they bite, some even just withdraw from humans altogether. Just thought I'd let you know. You should never declaw a cat, there are other ways to deter a cat from scratching your furniture and such.
