| OMG I bought 2 different kinds of these and they were JUNK!! It doesn't mean that they all are but the ones I bought didn't even work for 2 days. I wish I had the pictures of the ones I bought so that no one else would waste their time or money. One was very cute. It was plastic and a bright blue color with neon green accents ... JUNK! It leaked until there was no more water and was therefore useless. The other one was a small bottle that came with a wire mount. It was about 1/4th of wire hanger and the same material. It stabilized the bottle all of one time before it wasn't strong enough to hold it up. I am going to buy one from Revival. I saw them in the catalog for cheaper and I have always been pleased with the products I have bought from them.

The idea of water in the bottle is two fold. Especially for show people. It keeps the beard clean, easier to grow facial furnishings and keeping them free of bacteria. 2nd the water stays cleaner.

| Hello I bought a water bottle Sunday for our 5 dogs and they about dehydrated. Yes they would go and lick and lick and lick. I checked it and it don't seem to put out much water at each tap tap tap. I think I got the wrong kind. I got it at Petsmart in the hamster/critter section. I looked in the back where all the dog feeding bowls and water systems are but could not find any water bottles for dogs. So I went to the critter section and got a large one. The dog water bottles must be elsewhere in the store. So I said all that to ask...does the Nozzle or spout size matter in the amount of water it gives... if its for a dog or a rabbit? This bottle cost me $12.00 not to work. Oh and no drips. I don't know the brand I threw the package away. Any advise? Anyone have a brand they love!! we only have petsmart. Thanks!

| Therapy Dog Donating Member | We've been using the brand..LIXIT for about 2-1/2 years now without a problem. I got the bigger sized bottle with the larger nozzle and I have had no problems. Izzy is 3.5# and Cosmo is 12# Biewer. They drink from both the water bottle and bowl. (I have a bowl on our second floor so when they don't feel like going downstairs for the water bottle they will drink from the bowl). So so far, so good for us.

| I took it back to Pestsmart and bought the one for dogs. Oh my goodness what a difference!! The nozzle is a lot bigger and holds more water. We are going to do well...if not I'll post back and let you all know why!!! My Shih-Tzu puppy loves to soak her face in the bowl then run to my feet and rub her face on them....That is why I needed try something else. Thanks y'all.

| I use both. She has a water bowl next to her food bowl in the kitchen & a bottle in her kennel. She does use the one in the kennel, but when I get home from work she gets out and often goes & gets a drink out of the bowl. it must be a more satisfying amount.

| I use both! I have two other dogs (both JRTS) they don't seem interested in the bottle but my Yorkie knew what to do the first moment he set eyes on the bottle. I just think the bowl is better for a dog because they can get more water quicker, the bottle is handy because the water stays clean. |
