In the wild, a sick dog makes the whole pack vulnerable to attack and they will often be killed by other members of their pack. It's the "survival of the fittest". A dog who has seizures should never be left alone with other dogs, even if they are best buddies. Dog Attack - Now What? What can you do when your dog seizures? Other dogs should be removed from the area, as they may disturb or attack the seizuring dog. Canine Epilepsy Keep other dogs away, as they may not understand and may attack a dog during a seizure. I'm not trying to hold them responsible. Like I mentioned she was a re-home. I would of never bought a dog from a place like that, the lady who I bought her from said she was a breeder and that it was HER dog. I later found out that she bought her from a puppymill. I was just trying to learn WHERE my baby came from.

It doesn't say in there that I said I didn't pay. You must of read it wrong, I said the lady said she never recieved the money I sent her after I started telling her about how sick Stormy was. But when I mentioned I can take her to court over the LP she never answered or came in contact with me again. I did pay for this dog but the lady was a bit pushy about me picking her up therefore we made special arrangements because she wanted me to take her THAT day not in a week when I could pay her. This is why I suspect she knew she had problems and wanted to get rid of her asap. I'm not trying to get her or the breeder for nothing I made this thread about finding out info about the puppymill just for the heck of finding out! I never mentioned wanting to sue so where you are getting that info I don't know but you are mistaken.

| ![]() i don't blame you for wanting to know where she came from during her life, but now that she has passed on i personally don't think you are doing yourself any favors by chasing down the breeders now... i know you are hurting and i feel for you very much. my advice would be to let that baby rest in peace and not drag up a huge mess of her past for you to continue dealing with. grieve for the baby and let the chasing down the bad guys part go...it won't bring your baby back and will only lead to more heartache and possibly more money loss if you pursue a legal action against a breeder that you never bought from. good luck and i hope that you start to feel better about your loss with time. my mistake i didn't see your post up there... i apologize and revoke this post! Yes I can blame them and if it makes me feel a bit better whats the problem with it. I blame not only them, but all others like them. I didn't purposely get a dog from them, I wish I would of knew more info about where she came from but the lady who I got her from was a huge liar so none of this info came into light until after I got her home. I love dogs, and all animals, I hate to see this kind of stuff happening to innocent dogs personally I think a uneducated BYB is better then a puppymiller. But again I wouldn't want to help any of them out making money. I know blaming won't make anything better but sometimes it makes people feel better. I'd love to help put a stop to it all if I could some how but it takes an army of people to make a change I feel. | |

| ![]() Was she still alive? I thought your dog killed her? Did you have the vet check her to see if she was dead? Poor Stormy. To me this has nothing to do with the Breeder. I'm sorry, but Stormys life really upsets me. |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | ![]() My point is that most dogs come from poor breeders. Unless you activity set out to find a great breeder, you will probably buy your dog from a poor breeder. Good breeders, are very careful with dog placement, and they won't sell to just anyone, and this is one way to tell if the breeder you have chosen is a good one, but some breeders just "pretend" to be picky.

I don't know where you people are getting the idea that she was still alive ![]() ![]() I didn't say it had anything to do with the breeder, I said I wanted to SEE any info about these people and there breeding practicing for the heck of seeing, why you people on here have to make a huge deal out of something I don't know. Perhaps you shouldn't reply if you can't answer. Not directed towards you but everyone in general. This is being blown up .

That's true, I'm not looking for a dog and I know now after being here all this time what to look for when you do buy a dog and the mistakes I made during the process of getting her I know to never make again. The fact of the matter is I was lied to the lady was NOT picky at all who she went too, she was looking to get rid of her asap to whoever would pay. It is a shame and I should of took it as a sign as well as others I missed but for some reason she stood out to me but the way I am I always have a big heart when it comes to animals and I would always bring cats and dogs home to take care of and get better and find their owners. I have always had a love for animals and I see that some people take advantage of people like me and this lady just knew I was an easy target.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | ![]() Does this mean that the vet who did Stormy's reconstructive surgery doesn't know that Stormy died?
