| i have plenty of money sweetheart if you must know. i don't want to have to retrain an older puppy and miss out on the puppy experience of molding her into my own dog not redoing someone else's training...thanks... and if the pup gets sick i'll probably need the support and love from those on here who actually care about me and my pup...but i don't think i'll be talking to you. maybe you should mind your own freakin business and not be posting threats on my thread!! |

| Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | You don't have to talk to me. You are the one that said you don't want to pay 1000.00 so if you don't pay it now, you will pay it later. Guaranteed. I am not talking to you anymore. You need some serious help. You are the one that is attacking us. Let's close this thread.

If only we all could be very well prepared when we bring a pup home, all everyone can do is hope for the best. I got a dog and wasn't expecting emergencies or anything of that sort. I knew I could afford to pay regular vet costs, I didn't have nothing saved. But when my dog was in and out of the vets each month and money was running short I always found a way to pay! And just because I didn't have money saved didn't make me a bad owner. I still have 1 dog left and NO I don't have NO money saved for her emergencies. I don't know very many people who do, unless they are on here. Theres no rules that you NEED to have money saved, it is very nice and really great planning but I dunno I feel offended a bit by it because I was jumped on asking when I should get another dog and someone said to me I should save a few thousand before I consider another dog. Not every1 has that luxury! I am sure Rachel will do what she can if her dog needs some kind of surgery or if she needs to spend alot at the vet. She seems like someone who really wants this puppy and really cares to give this pup the best possible life she could, I am sure she will do whatever she can to help the dog when it is in need, I know I did whatever I could do even if it was borrowing money or selling my belongs, I did what I had to do to get my dog the care she needed and theres nothing wrong with it.

| Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | [QUOTE=RachelandSadie;2723149]Please pray everybody that they will agree and keep her longer, i don't want to have to go back on the search for another breeder. I want a pup so much and i'm ready to have one, but i'd rather wait to get her until after we go to my parents so that we can have full time attention on her and not travel with her...plus i want her to have that mom/pup time and be healthy. do u think the breeder is trying to avoid giving her the shots from 6 weeks-12 weeks??? i'll admit it to you all and risk the tongue lashing, i found the breeder in the classifieds and she's APRI registered not AKC and these are most likely backyard breeders...but we're not able to spend $1000 for a dog right now and i'm ok with her just being a yorkie, i could care less about papers, showing, or breeding her...she's just a family pet, as long as i know she's healthy, i don't really mind that she's not AKC registered. I just want to be leery of her breeders cause i don't want her to be sickiepoo, so hopefully they are as nice as they sound on the phone and they will keep her, am i stupid for not trying to see her breeding area and their home that she's at, i was going to have them meet me closer to my home when the pup is ready... i'm trying not to be stupid or scammed, but also trying not to have to drive 2 hours and pay over $1000 for a pup that i just want to love on, not breed or show. keep helping me, Rachel, I have asked Admin to close this thread. You said "i found the breeder in the classifieds and she's APRI registered not AKC and these are most likely backyard breeders...but we're not able to spend $1000 for a dog right now and i'm ok with her just being a yorkie" but yet you said you have lots of money to take her to the vet. From what you said, you can't afford a 1000 healthy dog but you have money to fix a sick dog??? I don't get it. As you said you were risking tongue lashing when you posted this. Not us.

Maybe you should do your homework and read the ENTIRE thread before commenting, i've since met the breeder and realized that he is NOT a puppy mill and that he's raising healthy pups and i'm not one bit worried about her having emergency vet bills, just because you may spend 1000 on a pup that you THINK is healthy, doens't mean you don't have just as much a risk as I do that that one puppy MIGHT still get sick or have emergency problems. i do not agree that spending more money on a stuck up show breeders' puppies will guarantee their health any more than buying from a nice older man who does this to make people happy. Close the thread if you'd like, that way i can be in peace and not have to deal with people like you anymore.
