Well shoot! Is there some way you can get your money back? If it was a credit card or debit card I think you can dispute it. If it was by check, you can cancel the check for something like an $8 fee if they didn't run right out and cash it. Otherwise, I'd certainly make sure the whole state(?) knows how awful this place is!

I understand why you are so upset. I would be upset too. I am glad that your baby is safe and healthy. Animal control officer probably needs to pay them a little visit.

ok so here is another update... she woke up PUKING this morning. She was on boiled chix and rice yesterday. Her poop has gotten a little better. not a green liquidy color. Now its light brownish yellow and more solid. She had puked all over my living room though this morning. I was following her around with a damp towel. It was mucus like and yellow. The first couple piles she trew up you could see the rice and some yellow stuff. She threw up like 13 times. I gave her a little nutrical and tried to get her to drink some water but she wouldnt drink.. sooooo.. Off to the vet we go!! I swear I am so angry at this kennel. I let everone know that had a dog outside yesterday to not take their dogs there. she is acting a little better now and hasnt thrown up for like an hour or so but i am still not gonna take any chances. I am gonna have them take a stool sample. PLease wish us luck. I can't believe this is happening. She has always been in such good health with the exception of a little constipation.

Oh, poor Marley!
I would never put my dog in a kennel, if i cant take my Yorkie with me in a vacation then i just dont go.

Poor baby. I sure hope that Marley's feeling better soon. I would never leave my kids at a boarding kennel if I were gone. Thankfully I have friends that would be more that willing to take my kids in if I were ever to go anywhere. Good luck and hugs and kisses!

omg if that happened to me i would have been cussing and yelling at the owner. i have zero patience for that kind of bullsh*t. NO ONE treats my babies that way! I'm sorry this happened to you. I'm praying your baby feels better soon.

Ok so the vet did a stool sample and blood work. He said her pancreas level ( don't really know what to call it ) was high but that could be from her throwing up so much. She was dehydrated and he tried to give her an IV twice but she tried to bite him. So he said he wouldn't give her an IV because she wasn't that dehydrated but just to make sure she got enough fluids. He gave me a syringe to force water if I needed to. He also said she has a bacterial infection. He gave me clavamox and some other pill he cut into 1/4 to give to her 2X daily. My poor baby. I hope she gets better soon . He also gave me some high calorie wet food so she gets the proper nutrients. I smashed her pill up into the food and sprinkled some shredded chix over it so she would eat it. Please keep us in your thoughts !! And thank you for all the support! I am going to see about getting a refund and having them pay my vet bill today.

That is terrible, i would have been POd too. I have a young relative come to my house to stay with mine when i9 have to go out of town. I gladly pay her $100 for a long weekend and know that the kids are in their own environment.

It's a win win situation. she can use the money and it saves me money, and I feel comfortable leaving them with her.

Just got off the phone with the lady that manages the kennel. After all the complaints ( she wrote them down ) she said that she probably can't give me a refund! She said she was going to talk to her "people" and she should be getting back to me by the end of this week. I told her I wanted my vet bill paid and reimbursed for the services rendered. We'll see what happens. I told her that if I don't get reimbursed that I will take it further up the chain on base. I kept telling her I am not trying to sound brash or rude but I want my freakin money back! Geesh.. poor Marley. I hope she gets to feeling better!

Good for you! You deserve a full refund, your vet bills covered, and additionally $ for what your poor baby is going through.

Sending prayers and positive thoughts Marley's way. I hope she's feeling better already, poor little thing...

i am so sorry to hear that. it seems that some people have a lack of compassion for animals, and if that was the case with this place then it should not be open at all and the workers should be someone who enjoy there job. i am so glad that when i go on vacation or a weekend getaway i have my sister who has a s**tzu to watch Denzel. i think you should find someone who you can trust. its a good thing your baby is happy and good health
