I agree with this, along with vet bills, the groomers should also be responsible for the kinkos bill for printing the flyers, as you would not have needed them but for their lack of responsibility. Pain and suffering for your poor baby, and yourself, and yes file a police report on the person who had called the cell phone. What goes around comes around, and no one would ever want this to happen to another innocent little furkid.

Yes, i did made a police report and the vet bills the groomer pay for them Thank God he is okay now but you know he's paws are going to be same anymore... also i'm into mental therapy because of that dramatic experience.

I am glad you got him back, and now he needs medicare attention. Burns are very serious. I have burns, so this has touched me on a personal level. It breaks my heart, to know what your dog has been through. How sick was that "individual" to do what he did ! I came from the Bay area.
It is unbeliable that this groomer place let go of a dog? Allowed a to get out of it's doors? run away? thats maddening! total negligence! A I'm so sorry does not cut it , all of this could have been prevented. Ignorant groomers . How crazy are those groomers? to let a little yorkie run away in San Fransisco? My blood is boiling.
Your baby loves you so much , and kissess you after being through hell. I am so happy he is back home safe where is needs to be. ALL off this just blows my freakin mind.

yes, it was in san francisco ca downtown. i had took him to the vet already he is fine now but you know like a said his paws are not going to be the same anymore. after i came back to talkto the groomer girl all the dogs where out in NO KENNELS running around because supposly they like to dogs don't get stressing out when they are getting groome.

thank you for your comment he is doing much better now and you know for the same reason i learn how to groom my kids on my own because i mean i know they are a lot of great groomers out there but i don't trust no groomer with my dogs anymore.... so i do them myself

I agree with the other posters; you have that guys number on your mother-in-laws cell phone, I would report him to the police, the Humane Society and anyone else that will listen.

I am devastated that this happened to your little guy. I am glad he is home with you, safe and sound. (This is one reason I don't trust groomers.)

you know obviosly it was ciggarettes burns but he is better now. also when this guy called there was no number it was private and we did called the police and they came to the house we explain them what had happened and they said it was just a dog the it was not a police matter. so i told them how bout when i give the reward and they do something to me is that when is going to be a police mater??? and they said yes!! i was so mad at the police then.

I know you are just thankful that you have Osito back, but that grooming shop needs to pay the vet bill at the very least. That was so irresponsible for letting one of the dogs in their responsibility actually get our of the building! If they are right on the street like that, they should have multiple barriers before a dog could escape to the outside!

Well first off I say, thank GOD you have him back. I would have been devastated like you. Second, little burns on him? How dare they. I say we get a posse and look for that SOB and burn him all over including HIS testicles. There was no call for that poor thing to be abused like that. Even though you are happy, I'll bet that little one is even happier than you!!!

yeas i after i got him back the was the first thing we did take pictures of him to have proof.. but know afterwards i gave it to this police from animal control in san francisco and they did a case but never found the guy

I am just so furious that your baby suffered the trauma and pain of cigarette burns. I just cry thinking about him going throught it.

I'm furious with the police, as well. Just a dog???? He's a living, breathing creature that was tortured.

Since there were threats made, I think you might be able to get the phone co. to give you the phone number.

I'm worried about the fact that he has your mother-in-law's phone number.

I am also heartsick for the emotitional trauma this has caused you.

I think the ASPCA would help you.

Thank goodness your baby is back home where he belongs. With you . It was not your fault. Has the Dr. placed him on meds and treating him for the burns injuries? I know first hand how very serious these are.
I understand that you have also been extremely traumatized . It is good that your also taking care of yourself . I hope you will feel better, and your precious little one will heal too. As you have said he is fine now, however, his paws are not. This is so sad. My heart breaks for what the both of you have been through.
I am glad your together again. if you can, bring him to therapy with you. I bring my Suzi with me, and I find that it is most comforting.
