|  i bought a yorkie from Joy Wise a couple of years ago. she was very friendly and i loved the puppies she had. Definetely a good breeder. |

| Joy Wise - Cherokee County - Puppy Mill Word to the wise...It looks like Joy Wise was just arrested and 357 dogs were confiscated from her property in Cherokee, County, GA. Sounds like she was running a puppy mill, definitely not a place anyone should support. Here's the link to a local news story. | The condition of the dogs is beyond words, they are currently being housed at Cherokee County Humane Society were they be all being evaluated and vetted. Hopefully they will go out to some of the local rescues, I notified our executive director immediately but he had already been made aware of the situation. I am so upset this was happening so close to my house, I guess I am naive but I thought the most we had to deal with were BYBers. Keep good thoughts for all these babies and if you have a few extra dollars they have an Amazon Wish List set up just for these guys.
