Do you know this breeder? (in Georgia) As some of you know I'm still in search for my perfect pal! I've been learning a lot from this sight...almost too much lol. I'm real picky now. I was wondering if anyone has heard of a breeder by the name of Joy Wise in the Georgia area? Just asking about any experiences with her pups? |
It doesn't look good. I found this blurb Joy Wise 2396 Bethelview Rd Cumming, Ga 30040 P966 Joy Wise This breeder offers 9 different breeds. Breeder also listed under ‘Heavenly Kennels’ located at 14045 Cumming Hwy Cumming, Ga 30120 and holds a license for selling pups at Pendergrass FLEA MARKET located at 5641 Us Hwy 129 Pendergrass, Ga. See breeder’s licenses under ‘Heavenly Kennels’ for license numbers. on this site The List « No More Cruelty 9 breeds and selling at a flea market are big huge red flags. |
Thanks so much :-) |
Believe me - if there was anyone good in Cumming I would know about them. I work in Cumming still (13 years) and I lived in Cumming for 10 years right before I moved just north of there 3 years ago. I am also a member of the AKC all breed club in Cumming. You must be so careful. I think your best move is to contact one of the gals that are YTCA members. You got some great people you can contact. Thanks Lorraine for doing the research for her! Great job!! T. |
Chattie's mom (Cindy) lives in Rome. I have one of her babies, who is now a year old. I couldn't ask for a better one than the one I have. He is loving, excellent temperament, beautiful and in excellent health. You might check with her about any upcoming babies.;) Good luck in finding the right one! |

Have you ever heard of her? |
I have a Maltese that I bought from Joy Wise in 2005 and he is the smartest most amazing dog I have every had. I did feel a little funny about one thing and that was when we went to see our dog for the first time she doesn't keep them at her home. She keeps them at a farm or some place like that and she had a lady that works for her bring the available puppies over to her home for us to look at them. We picked out our sweet baby when he was 3 weeks old and I told her I would like to see him again when he turned 6 weeks old, so she did arrange for us to come to her home and she had our baby brought over. We got to take him home 2 weeks later. The one personality trait that I noticed in my baby is he is aggressive when he is eating or food is around. It's like he must of had to fight for food there, but I'm not 100% sure that's the problem. I noticed that the first day we got him when I went to show him off to my sister and her Maltese. I do wish I could have just had her meet me at the place he was living instead of her bringing him to me at her home. I would have liked to see the living conditions of all the puppies!!! I did see some adorable yorkies at her home that were being delivered the day I picked mine out. |
Not sure if I like that..thanks so much! |
Hi, I am very happy with my Timmys breeder. She's in Canton, her name is Charlotte Griffin. She belongs to the breed club. I don't have her number handy at the moment. But if your interested I'll post it or pm it later. I don't believe she has a website. |
My breeder passed away (Avalon Rock Yorkies) in Toccoa, GA. If I went to get another yorkie in GA, I'd check out TyAVA or even ChattiesMom. |

In the same area, they sell chickens, ducks, rabbits, etc., probably as food animals. At first, I thought it would be a wonderful thing to give one of these babies a good home -- and it would -- but my veterinarian niece practically forbid me to consider one of them, saying the purchase of just one baby is supporting a life in Hell for at least two parent dogs. |
