Is Okay for my furbaby to sleep in my bed or not?

Nolee sleeps right between my DH and I. We have no problems! I agree, it is a personal perference! Of course, traniners, vets,etc. say this is a big no, no! Oh well!!!

Oscar started sleeping with us once he was housebroken. My husband almost rolled over on him once, so from that point on, Oscar would sleep next to me on the edge of the bed. Now what he does he sleeps most of the night on the living room couch (we are not crate people at all) and in the middle of the night, he will scratch at my side of the bed and come snuggle with me for a few hours before we all get up.

My lil Izzy has always slept in bed with us. I love it.She snuggles up to me on my side but when I have a hot flash then she gets between us. She has never had any accidents. When DH takes his shower and crawles into bed she knows its their time to play. Then he says ok nite nite turns out the lamp and she comes right over to my side and under the covers and thats it till morning its tooooo cute. We wouldn't have it any other way.

Bogey sleeps on the backside of either me or my husband and Pebbles sleeps in a hole usually in the crook of our legs. they sleep all night & love being next to us. They know who's boss!!

chester has slept with me from day one, they like to be near their family, if my vet told me that I would tell him to stuff it, especially if their isnt any issues

Sasha sleeps with me at night. I've never had a dominance issue of any kind at all. She knows better. I love having her in bed with me.

Suzi sleeps on my bed... There is no dominance issues . If the dog becomes aggressive and won't allow hubby in bed, than there is a probelm.. I have seen eposoides on dog training where little Yorkies have dones this ! They have become quite vicious too. OMG I was shocked. I have also seen Poms behave in this manner too. Toy breeds due get away with more than the bigger breeds though.. However, it is a lot easier to have a tiny dog in bed at night than a great dane. I feel safer with Suzi on the bed as well. SHe lets me know when anyone is near our condo. Than she comes running back to bed. It is not a problem for our family.

Lexie sleeps at the foot of our king size bed and Madison sleeps right up against one of us to keep warm. We've never rolled over onto our babies. We've never had a dog pee or poop on our bed or show any sign of dominance. I am the alpha in our pack.

Some may not agree. but alot apparently feel like I do. I too love having my babies in bed with us.

I COULD NOT SLEEP WITHOUT MY YORKIES!! I definetly agree with everyone else--as long as your baby isnt showing agression, i wouldnt worry!!
