				 | I use the PetSilk gel and love it! I also used the little snap barrets while Gracie's hair was growing out. I believe someone on YT sells it, but you can also get it at GlamourDog.com - Designer Dog Clothes, Dog Collars and Pet Carriers I also got the small grooming bands from them. I love her in pigtails, but she's not too crazy about it. I have also started braiding her top knot and really love that too!

Ha ha, this is the second time I caught you making a mistake, once you misspelled something. Personally I think the Petsilk topknot gel works really well on this forehead hair. Petzlife gel is great for the teeth, but I've never heard of anyone using it for this though.

| Donating YT 1000 Club Member | My girl is such a tomboy she pulls all the stuff out of her hair and loves to roll in the snow, etc. As far as the eyes go I use those round cotton pads to moisten the eye boogies, wait a bit then gently comb them out. Otherwise you pull the fur out too. You may have to moisten them quite a bit to soften them up enough not to pull.

				 | I like to use the ones that don't break the hair when you take them out Scunci brand. The seems to stay just as well at the rubber band type but don't break the hair when you take them out. I can slip them out without cutting but the still stay very well in her hair. The only problem would be that only the very smallest ones work the best so I always end up with a lot of the larger ones in the package. To me at least when I put them in Pebbles hair they don't cause the hair to to twist about and knot like the rubberband type. Then I put a little barrette inside the topknot only through the front and it all stays really well. This is how I use to do my daughters hair went she was a baby too. scunci Products

				 | I have the Petsilk Hair Gel and theoretically it would work well except for one thing. Katy Lou won't stop rubbing her head to get it out when I use it. So I just went back to dampening her hair with water before putting the band in. I think it may be the smell she is trying to get rid of. |

				 | For Molly the bands I use are from the dollar store. I got a 1000 of them for $1... you can't beat that! So far, I haven't had any problems with them ripping out her hair or anything. Molly is a red-legged and so her hair doesn't grow like most of your alls yorkies. She has a little patch of hair in the front of her face (I'm assuming its the same hair your yorkies has there that is annoying) that isn't long enough to go up in her bow. I don't even know if I should have hopes that this hair will ever grow long enough to get in her bow (she's 4). Hmm.. I read on her that someone used vaseline. I tried that... and it didn't do a good job. I'll try human gel next. I just don't like the way her hair looks when I added certain products b/c her hair is already coarse and I'm afraid the gel (and the pet gel) may just make it look more dry... What to do?! AHH

				 | Hi, I tried to assume your advices and clean Sophies eyes with washcloth. Most of the junk was taken off but still I feel her snout hair kind of sticky and just with wetting it's not going away. I did topknot and put barrett to hold small hair arising from her nose bridge. It looked fine, cute, and finally I was able to see my baby's eyes. But after whale whole my work looked messy . I think with gel it might last longer. I will try to buy gel. |

| I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | One note about the Petsilk topknot gel, you only use a tiny amount. I put a dab on my finger than rub it in the palm of my other hand to remove most of it, and than just dab on the short hairs. You don't need to put it on the whole forehead, think of it more as glue.
