For Molly the bands I use are from the dollar store. I got a 1000 of them for $1... you can't beat that! So far, I haven't had any problems with them ripping out her hair or anything.
Molly is a red-legged and so her hair doesn't grow like most of your alls yorkies. She has a little patch of hair in the front of her face (I'm assuming its the same hair your yorkies has there that is annoying) that isn't long enough to go up in her bow. I don't even know if I should have hopes that this hair will ever grow long enough to get in her bow (she's 4). Hmm.. I read on her that someone used vaseline. I tried that... and it didn't do a good job. I'll try human gel next. I just don't like the way her hair looks when I added certain products b/c her hair is already coarse and I'm afraid the gel (and the pet gel) may just make it look more dry...
What to do?! AHH
