Thanks but when I find a background on a web site that I like how do I get it to my album. I do have an album (sadly it is empty right now) ready and waiting for some backgrounds.

Here's a thread, on creating an Alubum http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...ake-album.html. It tell you how you can mark an album "profile" so you will be able to use the contents when you decorate your profile page. Most of us have "public" albums for pictures of our dogs, but "profile" albums when we want to use graphics for decorating our pages.

yikes, I am not following the site too well. I am trying to introduce myself on a thread and can't send it. I have a neutering questions which I am quite stressed out about and hope some fellow yorkie Mom's have facts and advise

To start a new thread, first go the "forums" link under the YT banner. Then, choose the correct section (general, breeders, health & diet, sick, etc.) and then hit the "New Thread" button. Type your question here, and then scroll down a bit and hit the "submit reply" button.

I see you started one thread ....

HI,

I am happy to be a new member.

I have a 6 yr old tiny yorkie named Molly. She was a rescue and was neglected and abused. I have her two years and she is okay but has eating issues. She won't eat any wet or dry dog food. The only dog food she likes is Purina Steak Bites. She'll occasionally eat a bit of chicken (if she is hand-fed). I've tried just about every kind of dog food, even tried cat food, with no success. I constantly worry about her diet. She gets vitamins daily and I now am feeding her some Blue Buffalo dog food from a syringe. I hate doing it, but I fear she isn't getting enough nutrition.

Any suggestions would be most aplpreciated.

I was just trying to answer someone's ?? question about GOLD DUST YORKIES in Arizona..I don't have any experience in these 'blogs' or?? I am not very computer 'savy' but was trying to tell someone that GOLD DUST YORKIES are THE best and I wouldn't go anywhere else..I own now TWO of them and they are wonderful and so is the BREEDER, Kathy Murphy. You may not expect this from Holbrook, AZ but SHE KNOWS WHAT SHE IS DOING and her dogs are the best quality and worth every dime. I lost BOTH my 'first' yorkies over two years apart and my heart is still broken but these new 'babies' are healing my heart for sure. SO..if anyone else needs to know they can contact me at wizardinteriors@aol.com thanks ELizabeth

Hi welcome to Yorkietalk. We have a diet forum that might be helpful in get more answers to your question. Yorkie Health & Diet - YorkieTalk.com Forums - Yorkshire Terrier Community Click on that link and in the top left hand corner, you should see the words, "New Thread" click on that and you can post a thread about the problems, your having. You can also post in the general forum and just introduce yourself. I can tell you that Yorkies seem to be more fussy than other dogs, and finding a healthy food can be hard sometimes. You will get much better answers if you start your own thread. Best of luck!

Murdoch is 4.5lbs & has started to get fleas

He is currently taking the heart worm prevention Worm Shield. I've heard terrible things about Advantage, Frontline & comfortis - can anyone tell me what flea medication would be safe to give to him? Thanks

P.S. I'm new here & not sure how to correctly add a post or a picture under name on the left?

Can you tell me why I don't have an "edit" button on my thread (not this one)? I'd like to change something, possibly delete it, but I don't have an "edit" button. The FAQ even said I should.

You can only edit a message for 5 minutes after you posted something, for example, your post on this thread should have had an "edit button" in the lower right hand corner of your post for about 5 minutes, this gives you a little time to change spelling or add a new thought. After five minutes, you have to contact admin, but they only edit if the post has broken some rule. Sometimes it's best to click on "preview post", and that allows you to see how your post will look when it's posted, but you have lots of time to change it.

The edit button goes away in 5 minutes, see picture.
