| ![]() the vet said his symptoms are similar to almost every puppy his age and size when away from their mother. he was given shots but has reacted well to them. as for the head bobbing he said not cause for concern unless it happens AFTER he eats. he doesn't. we will continue to monitor. today prince ate because we made him which was rice and chicken breast. he also had a few snacks. he seemed energized and back to normal. when put in his cage he chewed on a bone for a while all the while roaming the cage looking more normal then we've ever seen him and then he continued to eat some of the food in the cage. he even touched the dry which we've seen him eat but once. we are happy with the results as of now. we will keep you all updated. thanks much. p.s. on a side note of sorts we had my brother-in-law over and engaged in normal fun conversation while hanging out we noticed prince responded very well to that as well rather then constant worrying about him and looking at him and monitoring him. etc. |

It sounds like you are doing great with feeding him. Nutrical, karo syrup, etc, is great for a hypo episode, but they need food to prevent an episode. Too many people over use Nutrical and they create a cycle of sugar highs and crashes if they aren't making sure their puppy eats. Keep up the good work and keep us posted on Prince! | |
