| I am so sorry. Two intact females will fight as you tragically found out. I pray your little girl will be able to keep her eye. Hopefully getting them spayed and perhaps working with a trainer will stop the fighting. |

| i know right now you must be devistated.. but dont worry.. shell barely know the difference. my Little man (boyfriend yorkie) had the same thing happen to him... his eye popped out and couldnt be raplaced without loosing all of his sight in in and eventually most likely having more problems. they sewed it shut and very quickly the hair grew out over and and unless u really look u cant really tell hes missing an eye. he doesnt act any different either... the first couple days he would only turn to one side.. but hes adjusted perfectly fine and now we call him winky. lol

Your little girl will recover from this (as will you). Just give her extra love (out of the Sheltie's view, of course) while she adjusts. {{{{HUGS}}}} | |

| aww my thoughts and prayers go out to you and Sophie! I'd definately keep an appt to get them spayed to be on the safe side. Its so sad when something tragic like that happens. Give her an extra kiss for me... Im sure she'll adjust quickly and be the same little loveable pup! Its not your fault... you couldn't have known that would happen.

| Im so sorry. My mother in law's dog had a tumor in her eye and had the eye had to be removed. She recovered so quick and dosent act any different than with both. No one can tell because her hair hangs over her eyes same as our little yorkies look half the time. I hope she recovers fast. Here is a pic I took of her last week. Its more noticable in the pic because of the redeye.
