| Donating YT 11K Club Member | wow im so sorry! That is traumatic. My females fight, but pretty much only when there is food around. I have to feed them seperately cause of this. The other day they got in a fight and my bf was there and he didnt know how to take them apart. Sophie had a hold of London's eye, i really thought she was going to bite her eye out. But i took them apart and got bit in the process. London's eye was swollen afterward with mucus but she saw a vet and its better now. Female fights are the worst! Im praying for your baby, poor thing. The fastest way to stop a fight i think is get right in the middle of it, pry their mouths open, at least for small dogs. For big dogs, i have no idea, i would be scared of getting bitten.

| My little Chihuahua who died of a massive stroke last year, had an eye put out by a foster shaking a knotted rope toy. Then she developed glaucoma in the other eye and was on two different meds for a year and then it ulcerated and had to be removed. She was just fine with no sight at all. Always such a happy little 2 pound girl. Your baby won't even know she is missing an eye. Are you going to get a second opinion though, with a Veterinary Ophthalomologest?
