Bottom line is, it's the breeders choice regarding whom they place their dogs with and their right to be picky about the potential homes, for whatever reason. That's just the way it is.

I completely agree. She has every right to deny me for whatever reason she feels is necessary. I may not agree, but I am not the one who is taking care of these little furbabies. I didnt like the fact that she kept me holding on for hope for days. That is not fair.

The screening process is part of getting a puppy from a reputable breeder. It doesn't mean that you are automatically entitled to a puppy. You don't expect to get every job you apply for, do you? Would you complain to the interviewer for wasting your time? I think not.

If that is truly the case, then I wouldn't stress to much over this one particular situation. It sounds like you got turned down by one breeder out of several and for whatever reason the other breeder just didn't think it was a good match. As the saying goes, you can't please everyone. Like you said, you may not agree with it, but it's not your call.

Exactly what I was thinking. It wasn't hard to figure out which breeder is being talked about.

It wasn't me because she would have known where she stood with me right from the beginning.

I agreed with what you said about shying away from online community. This thread is an example because its pretty easy to figure out who is being talked about.

I would say something just to call her out- who cares you are going with another breeder- Listen, I have learned that this dog was probably not the right dog for you and when you have your dog you will understand why this didn't work out. I hope that isn't too "hippyish" for you but I really believe that- I was supposed to get another dog and it didn't work out but know now that it was because I was supposed to have Keoki- I hope it works out!!!

Umm not the OP but wasnt babylola trying to choose between 2 puppies? She already had the breeder picked out because some of you were calling the breeder she has picked out a puppymiller. Im sorry but Im not seeing the simialarites???

Is the implication that the OP was babylola nyc? Babylola nyc is no longer a member, but may have rejoined. Nothing wrong with doing this of course.

I was answering Amandawash's post, she asked if the OP was babylola. I was trying to figure out why she thought that they were similar.. babylola already had a breeder, the OP is looking for one..
