It wasn't clear tha babylola nyc was going with the breeder. She was heading to CA on a business trip, and left YT. I don't think there was any feedback that babylola nyc purchased a pup.

I was babylola--good memory! I thought you knew that when we spoke on the phone. My fiance decided not to go with the original breeder after all that was said on this forum. He became a member here and tried to find a breeder and thought you all were nice and so he convinced me to come back and then to rejoin as a member.

This situation has nothing to do with the prior. We left that breeder awhile ago and started our research all over again. We took your advice and concerns and we put them with ours and started on a mission (more like a full time job) to find a breeder and a puppy.

I had two breeders that I liked and was happy to buy a puppy from either one. Unfortunately, I was very angry that one of them dragged me along for a week. She could have just told me no right away. She never got to know me at all (but again, its her choice to choose the home of the puppies). I just wish she didnt keep my hopes up for a week.....

Now, we are so very happy with our breeder. She has sold to many of you and I am so happy with her and what she produces, that whatever little girl comes to our home, we will love and spoil to death!

As my fiance says, its the first breeders loss .


Thanks for letting me vent!! I may be gone for awhile, but will keep you posted when the puppies are born!

Nope never got one. Went to CA on business for 2 days.....talk about being stuck in an airport! The horror of that trip!

In the long run you want a breeder you can trust and have good open communication with long after you bring your puppy home. One that will lie to you is not someone that you would want to deal with. You were honest with her and she should have given you the same respect.

While it is ultimately her decision where she place a puppy , you are entitled to the truth as to why she felt you were not a good match. It may have been a just a gut feeling or even a miscommunication of sorts , but she would never know without being truthful with you.

If she wanted your honesty , she should give it in return. That is how a good reputation is built.

I'm glad your situation worked out and can't wait to see your new furbaby online

I'm just gonna add mabe it just waznt meant to be !!!!! Dont let it discourage you enough to stop looking,theres alot of good breeders out there who are into breeding for the love of yorkies and love giving them to a good home .. keep your spirits high that you will find the right puppy.
It took us 4 mnths of looking and at least a 1\2 doz different breeders to find our Rex.. he's more than anything we could have looked for , and adds... we found the breeder by chance..
Soooo just keep looking ... your furball will find you!!!!

I didn't get from her post that she had anyone lie to the breeder about an interest in the pup. I may have been mistaken but I took it to mean she told someone about the breeder , then that someone called the breeder wanting a puppy ( not just to check for her ) .. Did I miss something along the way? I didn't get the impression she had anyone lie to the breeder.

I am sorry for using all caps. I was angry. I know I shouldnt be shouting. I am trying to do the right thing after being lashed out from the first breeder and it was such a bad experience that I left. I came back and again its all this negativity. I do not appreciate anyone saying things about me without knowing me or someone who is a 5th party coming in stating facts that they had no idea.

I am going to do some yoga or something to calm down. I know this is a great place and I hope to share my sweet furbaby when she is born!

Wow, you seemed to have totally overreacted to Amandawash's reply. On one hand, you thank members for helping you understand that the first breeder wasn't a good one, and on the other hand, you call us crazy for warning you. It's not really good form to use the forum to bash someone, just because they didn't think you were a suitable candidate. You might want to be more careful how you respond to some of these threads, breeders read them too, and it sounds like you might have some anger issues to work out. I could be wrong. Remember, providing a good home, means more than just providing a roof over their heads. I realize it's very stressful finding a good pup, but it's also stressful housebreaking them, and training them.
