| Cash always sleeps with me... has been every since I got him. He gets a bath every week and sometime more frequently coz he gets dirty too quickly. Regular contact with bacteria is actually good for you!! It helps keep your immune system strong. So, just tell that to anyone who frowns at dogs (clean or dirty) sleeping in the bed!!

| Yeah, I just toss 'em in with me. I do wipe their paws after we go out - especially if its wet. If we go to the park, they might get an extra bath, or a full rubdown. Another thing I do sometimes is spritz them with a doggie leave in conditioner or 'freshener' and towel them off... But for the most part we are just gross together and snuggle up. I mean, I let them lick my face, so I am not going to worry about the bed! LOL.

| Walker sleeps in his crate most nights, but he does sleep in bed with me when hubby works 24 hour shifts or overnights. I figure he's probably cleaner than daddy after a 24 hour shift soooo...we snuggle dirty feet and all |

| Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | My husband and I sleep with 2 dogs, and 2-3 cats at one time. I change my sheets weekly. I've had our new puppy christen my bed more than once. If they are scurvy,or have gotten into something..in the tub they go. Our routine is,mom is only still when she climbs in the bed,so that means, they all,one at a time, get love, and then brushed EVERY NIGHT. Routine. If we have friends/family over, and it's later than the usually bedtime they start meowing, whining, jump up in my face ect. We play poker 1 time a month and I've learned that, If I don't give them their treat they will be on the card table...chips and all!! They are so used to the routine. It's funny. I actually had to prove it to my brother, who did'nt believe me. Every night at 6pm they get a nite nite treat. All of them. When I forget..all @#$@#% breaks loose. I figure, they're my kids ,so who cares about how nasty it may seem. I love it. We all cuddle in,and they all have their spot on the bed.

| I have 2 blankets on my bed for Tyson. A full blanket and his little blanket. He's only allowed to jump up when they are laid out for him. It actually works very well. If I forget he will wake me up to remind me before he jumps up. So I guess we have an understanding. |

| Every furry creature in my house is invited to sleep with me - dirty feet and all. I've even found myself sleeping in furballs before . I look at it this way - sheets wash, I wash, furbutts wash, life is way too short to sweat the small stuff. I need and enjoy their company far too much to fret about dirty feet . I just moved my birds into my room, so now I'll be sleeping in feathers and birdseed(they have seed spitting contests ).

| I worry more about my furbaby sufficating under the covers. She insists on burrowing down and I can't sleep cause I am worried she can't breath. Does anyone else's babies do this? |

| I agree with all the replies. I wipe his face and paws after every walk and the sheets and Chase get a once-a-week cleaning. I can see how others might think it's gross, but he's a member of the family now.

| Mine are both burrowers and so far, no catastrophes! I did make a little 'hutch' for them to sleep in in my headboard, I bought a bookcase headboard from Target and it has compartments and Ella Bean cuddles into the center one. SO CUTE!!

| Cutie needs to be under the covers at all times! She will nudge me until I open up the covers for her to let her in. She loves sleeping against me under the covers. She been sleeping like that for 5 years now. She has learned how to move the covers to get underneath too. I wish cutie would sleep in her own little compartment! she refuses to sleep anywhere else except sharing my pillow or undercovers

| Well, Ella Bean is an 'independent woman'! She likes her space. She will start the night cuddling, but finishes in her compartment. Louis will use his big Cavalier paws to nudge at me until I lift the blanket to let him in...I lift the blanket in my sleep now if he starts nudging...And the truth is its less like a nudge and more like a big paw slapping me!! LOL
