| My dogs always sleep with me. I don't worry about sanitation unless they have gotten into something. They too are bathed once a week and are wiped with baby wipes if need be. I change my bedding once a week so I can think of worse things that could make one sick. Now it was really difficult when we had labs. Those guys are much dirtier and hairier than any yorkie but they still slept with us. LOL |

| Fiona is 7 months young, we started letting her sleep in our bed when she was about 4.5 months old, since she would play us out and let her out as soon as she whinned in her crate. I dont wipe her paws off or anything, which does seem gross, but face it, germs are everywhere! however, if i noticed something nasty on her, i would wipe her off ASAP! Baby wipes work great, and even when she was having all the flea issues, she was still in bed with us, which i was pretty grossed out about, but i never got them . ( man, i sound real dirty, dont i?) I love having her in the bed with me!!!!!

| YT Addict | Lexi sleeps in the bed most of the time, its fine because she small. Our doberman on the other hand...OMG! This dog would squeeze inbetween the two of us, and I'd wake up nightly with no blankets and no room. Moving her is impossible for me when she is sleeping and dead weight. One night she kicked me in the stomach and I thought I was going to die. After months of this, I finally said NO MORE! She now sleeps in the kennel - atleast when I'm in the bed, if I'm not around she sleeps with my boyfriend.. Its kind of dirty when you think about it, but oh well. |

| No cleaning routine here. ![]() What is the difference between holding them during the day and letting them sleep with you at night? Ellie doesn't get her feet wiped unless they are muddy and she doesn't get cleaned after she poops unless she is messy. Now if I let her hunt, she probably wouldn't sleep with me at all. That's not happening though. I won't even let her eat bugs if I can help it.

| my three small ones sleep with me and I never think twice about it unless somebody gets really dirty... they get a bath once a week and dont go outside unless I am with them, watching. my lab, she sleeps with my daughter, no room in my bed with 2 of us and 3 pups.. haha Hope cannot get on the bed by herself but I keep an ottoman at the foot and it works as the perfect "step" for her. Tinker cannot even get on the ottoman so she has to have a boost up, and Tootie, well, he is just everywhere.. haha The two bigger ones are not allowed on the pillows or under my covers. I keep a sheet over my quilt that is washed just about everyday... Hope, well, she is the baby, and yes, she sleeps, snuggled under my shoulder when she gets tired, she will stand in my bedroom door, peeping down the hall and whinnneeee at me, she is so cute! wouldnt change it for the world.. d

| Johnny slept in his crate until recently when I felt comfortable enough with his potty-performance. He likes to snuggle up against my back but I just don't like being touched when I sleep so I take two pillows and put them in a v-shape and he snuggles in the corner of the pillows. When he thinks it's about time to get up for breakfast, he starts licking my face. I can usually get a few more winks if I let him burrow under the covers or snuggle up against me. I love it!!! ![]()

| I use babywipes on Rosie's private area and feet every time she goes outside . I still don't feel like they're clean enough after wiping them, but that's the best I can do. I sometimes wash her feet with soap and water if they're muddy. |

| I haven't let our baby sleep with us yet, our bed is quite high and he seems so fragile... but when the time comes I plan to wipe him down before letting him up with us .. he always gets wiped after going potty and his feet get wiped a couple of times a day, I figure i'll do this at night even if he hasn't gone potty etc.... I hate germs I can't even believe the little guy has me considering letting him in bed with us ! lol |

| I think I might get some steps. Lily JUMPS on and off of EVERYTHING and it scares me to death!! She gets up on the back of the couch and jumps off all the time too!! She probably wouldn't use the steps? I don't know how she can jump so high??? She is such a little girl but she can jump over gates and everything and she jumps up in the bed if she makes her mind up to do it and jumps down always!! I am afraid she will break her neck or back or something?? I can't stop her!! She is FAST!!lol |

| Finnigan has started sleeping with us every night now that its colder. He's able to make the jump up to the bed (even though sometimes he bounces off the mattress on his first try poor thing). No cleaning routine here, before bed we walk him in the back yard and he usually doesn't even get off the deck. I figure I'm not washing my feet when we go in, so why his. We do keep a towel and wet ones next to the door for inclement weather, but besides that its straight to bed for us.

| Strawb doesn't sleep with me for the nighttime bulk, but she is allowed up on my bed in the evening and the morning to cuddle and nap! She has her own way up and down to come and go as she pleases. I so don't care and have never worried about it. I figure she is family now and she can use any furniture and go anywhere in our house as long as she follows the main rule 'Thou shall not eliminate inside unless it is in the toilet and if you can manage that, then great'! She does all her business outside, but it is my front yard and I guess I just don't worry about what is out there. :S I am not gross...we touch far worse things when we handle money or touch buttons in elevators, etc! HAHAHA! Let's not stress about that! Hah! She cleans herself like a good girl and I bath her once a week and anytime she gets messy. I just make sure I wash my sheets every weekend too and then we are both comfy and clean! Well...as clean as we can be without being compulsive about it!
