| To lovemyalfie: Actually, it wasn't the owner who took Jinju to the vet, it was the groomer. She showed me the report and I talked to the attending vet. Thank goodness one of them had a conscience! I will soon be sending off my report to BBB and will definitely write her up on ripoffreport.com. It's really a shame that there is really no way of being able to legally go after groomers/vets etc. who have brought pain to our pets b/c of their negligence. That really sucks. |

I am very sorry about the situation, i hope Jinju is doing well. my baby milu is taking the same medication and she hates it. my trick for getting her to take it is to mix it with shredded cheese. | |

| What about taking some of those photos of Jinju's ear and photocopying them on flyers, warning others about this groomer and stand outside and hand them out to the customers that were going to go in!!! That would definitely "cut" into her business!!!! Good Luck with whatever you do, Jinju is still adorable, but I don't blame you for being so upset!! I probably would have hit the woman if she had done that to my baby and then wouldn't even apologize!!

No Longer a Member | Makes you wonder just what size clippers they were using on the ear, dont groomers change clipper sizes to a really small one for the ears. I know I do on my dogs. I have been clipping their ears for years and have never nicked with the pocket clippers, I would never use anything larger on the ears. I would take the woman to small claims court too. |

| Hi! I just wanted to send you a limnk to a craigslist forum that I posted to about the incident. I wanted to let ppl in my local area know what these ppl were really like and look at what this IDIOT wrote in response: Question - BEWARE-Stay far away from Little Teddy's As if I don't feel like crap as it is, and then this person wants to make assumptions! Sorry, just needed to vent a little! Oh, and by the way...YORKIETALK RULES!!! |

| Hi Mojolim, First of all I am SO SORRY to hear that your darling little baby girl was injured and that you and your family have to go through such an incident with such a HEARTLESS woman. I hope things work out for you. I also live in Ontario. I can only imagine how stressful that must have been/and still is. I tried that Craigs List link and it was flagged and REMOVED. ALL THE BEST with your future endeavors and HUGS to your baby girl. She certainly is a SWEET HEART. |

| Sounds fishy I am a groomer and the story they are telling about a "nick" just doesn't sound right. From the looks of things I could not begin to tell you what happened. Because of the way it is shaped, it just does not look like a pair of scissors. The cut would have clean edges and to obtain that shape the ear would need to have been cut twice. Of course there are curved shears, but still it would have nice clean edges. The thing that is that these groomers act as if they have no regard for the four legged family members. So what makes them any better than a puppy mill breeder? NOTHING I groom for one reason and one reason only: I enjoy making the girls and boys beautiful. It's NOT about the money, if I had to get another job to pay the bills I would. I don't like to cram the dogs in so I get more money. I like to give them their individual time and if I need to go slow because they are scared then so be it. Grooming is my peace and serenity-its what I love. |

The size of that chunk is beyond any explanation a groomer could give me. I realize that accidents can happen, but something very strange happened there. It looks like it is below where a groomer would tip the ear, so I do not understand. I sit with my pups while they are groomed and watch closely....there is no way a chunk like that could be taken out. My groomer always has her fingers along the ear as she trims it after she tips them. Poor Jinju will be scared next time he is groomed...that alone should be worth a lawsuit, but the stupid laws don't treat them the way they should. Give him lots of belly rubs for all of us at YT. I am SO sorry...I know how awful you must feel. It would kill me to leave my baby somewhere and have someone do that to him.
