| Rabies Tag Okay, this is really random and rather odd but it's been on my mind. Zoë got her rabies shot and the subsequent tag. Well the tag they gave us was rather large, at least for a little Yorkie. The vet said it was officially distributed to them by the county. I was curious if I could transfer all of the info on the tag they gave me, which has A LOT of info on it, to a smaller tag (maybe just writing on both sides?) to make it a bit more doable. Has anyone else experienced this or even thought about this? Silly I know but figured it was worth seeing if I was alone in this... |

| lol, I hope someone knows. Ellie's isn't that big but it is a fire hydrant. This is a girly princess we're talking about and I don't like it.

| In Pa. you can't do that... Call your Courthouse and ask. My Baron chewed his tag all up because it was so big. I called and it against the law in Pa. to transfer the info to a different tag. So, Baron has a chewed and scratched up tag on, You can see the year and that's about it!! It was a great ? and I'm sure it happens to alot of people who have small dogs... Baron's Mom

| Harley's tag is very small, it is a blue bone. We only had two choices for the tag, but my vet had several pink choices. On the front is the hospital name and the vaccine#, the back has our last name, Harley, and then our first name (which we paid an extra three dollars for). The vet gave me a signed document with all the other info. We live in KY. We use the puppia harness with Harley (only when we go outside) and I have the tag attached to the D ring, so he can't get to it at all. It seems like what would work in one state would work in all. | I think every state has different laws on this- but I was always told that you don't really need to have the rabies tag on the collars, or harness, as long as you have the rabies certificate you should be fine. Fiona's is a little heart, and I leave it on her harness at all times. When I was living at my parents, and had my dachshunds, I had their rabies tags on my keychain at all time, just in case!
