| Well I'm going to go and see the movie, but not because of the dogs, I had a chihuahua Chico when growing up.....he was great and the only one that will forever live in my heart when it comes to chihuahuas. Weird, but I named my yorkie Chino and didn't realize until now Chico and Chino are almost the same. Very weird.....I'm going to have to think about why I did this Anyway why I want to see the movie is because of Jamie Lee Curtis she is awesome, now someone mention George Lopez and he is another fine actor. I'm taking time off tomorrow and going to the movies |

| The stars of the film made a video encouraging everyone to adopt at shelters and rescues, just saw it on YouTube The chi featured in the film was adopted from a shelter just ONE day before he was scheduled to be euthanized. I think to say that a film should be boycotted based on something that "might" happen is ridiculous Should films that have children be boycotted also, as people might go out and have babies and then not take care of them?

| Just because some people boycott it, won't stop the stupid people from buying a Chi without doing research... The best thing we can do is try to educate our friends, families, neighbors, and random strangers... Things are going to happen, no matter what... we can't save them all and boycotting a movie would do nothing.

| I agree with the unpopular opinion that the movie itself should not be banned because of what irresponsible people do. The MOVIE is not at faULT and Disney is not profitting because of irresponsible people. I want to see the movie because I love dogs and I think it will be a great movie, but I am not planning on going out and buyin g a chi. If it was a YORKIE movie, I would be seeing it too, and still don't have plans to buy more yorkies. In fact, from the trailers I have seen there is an ADORABLE yorkie in it in a beauty salon saying, talk to the paw" LA's local news is reporting on it and telling people to NOT run out and buy a chi, but if you want to get one to please go to a chi rescue.

| I don't think it's as big a concern as it was with 101 Dalmations. The people that got dalmations after that movie didn't seem to realize how destructive they can be, and I think that's why a lot of the dogs were abandoned/rehomed. Chihuahuas are a lot less destructive and because of their size they can't get into as much stuff in your home. Even if there ends up being a demand, I think those people will be a lot more pleased with their choice. |

I don't think this or any movie with animals should be banned as long as they were treated in a humane manner during filming, etc. I think people need to tell their kids "no" more often when appropriate. Especially when it involves a living, breathing, feeling animal. Buy them a stuffed Chi and see how they handle it before buying a real one. Heck they may be just as happy with a stuffed one. Chi's were popular after the Taco Bell commercials came out, and the movie Legally Blonde (I think it was called). This is not the first run the Chi's have been given in the last few years, I hope parents and breeders will not buy or sell to anyone with small children, especially those who don't seem responsible. But money talks.

| It just makes me absolutely sick that parents give into their whiney kids and get them a dog that they really have no knowledge about!! What a bunch of spoiled brats is society raising?? I don't so much blame the kids, as much as the parents... My parents would never get me something just because I thought they were "cute"!!! I think the movie looks cute, but it would never influence me to go out and "buy" a chi just because I thought they were cute in the movie! Where is some peoples common sense???? I just shake my head and pray that those poor puppies make it to a forever home.

| If I was already looking for a dog, a movie MIGHT make me consider getting that certain breed, but being the responsible owner that I am, I would research it first and go from there.
