I just read an unofficial report on NOAA that 24 inches of rain was just dumped on Melbourne. Wow.The thing is stalling over Cape Canaveral, (looked like Daytona on the map) and has been hovering there for about 2 hours. It needs to move off of those guys soon. We've got the wind coming out of the east, not bad though, the flag is blowing straight out. I'm just worried about all this water. We've had a good bit of rain this month, and the ground in some places is soaked. I'm going home soon, I haven't let any of the water out of the pool yet. Need to do it in increments so it can hopefully soak in the ground. Gosh, Baxter will be at the vet while this is going on. I hope the power doesn't go out. I need to shut up.

We just heard a report of 30 inches rain, according to our tv weather channel.
Keeping everyone there in Florida in our prayers.

I just heard that on the radio! sigh. They said central Florida.
We sure know what tornados are like here in Illinois so you FL folk be careful. We will continue to pray for your safety and well-being.

They just showed footage on the tv of all the flooding in Florida. It looks pretty bad for some folks. I really feel for them. My prayer are with you all.

We live in Jacksonville. Other than heavy, intermittent rainshowers and gusty wind we haven't had any big problems here. Schools and many businesses are closed. Several of the bridges are closed due to the winds. Some streets that flood whenever it rains alot are closed. Our power (which usually goes out when a cloud goes over) is still on thank goodness and thats FANTASTIC !! The reports are for more of the same wind and rain showers at least thru Friday. Last Summer we were so dry it was scary, this year its been just the opposite.

Keeping all you Florida folks and furbuts in our prayers you can try to send some of that rain over to west Texas for us we would definitely take some.

Southeast Georgia, Glynn County - all we're getting is a steady light rain and a few wind gusts. It's weaking now as it crosses back across Florida. Our prayers are being answered. I certainly hope our Floridian neighbors have power and dry floors.

My sis lives in Fl her husband dies a few months ago so now its just her an dthe Grandkids shes raising. she hasent been able to go to work because its all flooded where she works and she cant get through it. Last night my other sister stayed on the cell with her because of the bad weather electric wires went down over her yard and trees and it looks like fireworks out side, her olderson finaly picked them up and took them to their house. but still they live close and its bad there too. I havent heard from my brother he lives out by the ocean.

I am still here, now. We went to a shelter last night, because of what they were saying on the news. Big mistake. What was good about it was I was able to take ALL 5 of my dogs with me. They were so good to my babies, 4 legged, and my 2 legged ones. I just felt so bad, and felt like I didn't belong there. We left this morning, came back home. Most of the people there were not families afraid of the storm or "Fay", or people living in mobile homes, or too close to the beaches, but homeless people. It broke the girls and my hearts. They did let us come and go as we pleased, so we went to Walmart and bought some things for these guys and girls. Snacks, blankets, playing cards, water bottles, etc. We are home now, and our power has not gone off at all. Wind gusts, up to 58 mph, small limbs have fallen on the house, and very rainy, but we are fine. We have food to eat in case the power goes out, something you do not have to cook. Schools are closed tomorrow. We are just saying inside. OK, that is how we are doing. Anyone else from the area? How did everyone survive in the rest of the State of Florida? South? Panhandle? Prayers are going out to everyone. Darlene
