We live in Jacksonville. Other than heavy, intermittent rainshowers and gusty wind we haven't had any big problems here. Schools and many businesses are closed. Several of the bridges are closed due to the winds. Some streets that flood whenever it rains alot are closed. Our power (which usually goes out when a cloud goes over) is still on thank goodness and thats FANTASTIC !! The reports are for more of the same wind and rain showers at least thru Friday. Last Summer we were so dry it was scary, this year its been just the opposite. |
