| Apparently I've been so wrapped around puppy Zoe I've lost touch with the real world. Fae is still a ways away from us here in Tallahassee but we're experiencing light rain and tropical storm like wind today, with the rain picking up tonight through Sunday. (They're predicting something like 10" inches for us possibly.) Thank goodness I've got lots of candles, water bottles, and canned food just in case! Poor Zoe does not like the rain or wind, and almost refuses to go outside. Poor thing, it's only going to get worse as the weekend progresses! My thoughts are with all the other Florida YT'ers! It certainly isn't our first storm and it won't be our last but here's hoping everyone stays safe! |

| We're in Tampa and all we've received is a few gusts of wind and a little rain. This is the strangest storm I've ever seen. I put up all the hurricane window coverings and then 2 days later I had to take them down. I'm not complaining though because this sure beats a hurricane. We are about 35 miles from the Gulf so we wouldn't evacuate but I can't imagine taking my 3 nutty dogs into an evac center. Scooter still barks like a mad man when he sees another dog (aside from his step brother and step sister here). Weird weather.

| Well, I'm here in West Palm Beach today and spent the morning on the beach! It was great! The sky was bright with billowy white clouds. The water was cool - not cold and the waves were medium. |
