| Boys vs. Girls I can't seem to make my mind up about a male or female now. I wanted a little boy of course. But it seems I might have to change my mind due to all of these beautiful females I have seen. My questions is this. What do you like better female or male and why? |

My advice is not to go with a certain gender in mind, but whichever pup you're drawn to most. As another example when I went to pick out my cat I wanted a girl but ended up with a boy and i LOOOOVE my kitty.

| I've always been an extreme girly girl so I chose a girl pup. I love dressing her up in pink and buying her pink things and I'm not sure if I could get away with it if she were a boy ! She used to favor her daddy over me though, then he got a job where he stays gone quite a bit so she's basically joined to my hip . She is a bit of a turd monkey every now and then but I assume that goes for both boys and girls, not sure. If I were to get another though, I'd def. choose a girl again !

| I've always had girls, then I got a boy and then we kept a boy from on of my litters. I find that my boys are more cuddly than the girls. But I love them all. |

YT 1000 Club Member | I won't be any help because I have 2 of each. I used to think boys were more of the cuddlers but then Friday came home and proved me wrong.

| I have one of each and they both have good qualities. My female is the cuddler though. My male is very lovable too just not as cuddly. My female lives to cuddle with you. she also follows me everywhere

| When I went to go get my first Yorkie, I wanted a girl. I got to the breeders house and fell in love with the boy. After Teddy died, I wanted another dog, but this time a girl again, ended up getting a boy again. Now, in 19 days, I will be finally bringing my little girl home (I already seen and put a deposit on her). |

| if you are torn between the two.. go with the one that you find yourself most drawn to, when you see the puppies! we have 1 girl.. and she is the love of our life! we also are bringing home another baby girl next week! i think it just depends on the puppy and how you train/raise them! whatever you decide.. will be perfect for you!! how exciting! have you found a breeder yet?

| There is nothing in the world more loveable and cuddly than a little boy yorkie!!!!!!!!!! I have one boy and one girl, and I love having one of each, but if I ever just have one again, it will be a boy. |

| Lucie is my frist female dog ever. Duke is my first Yorkie, and comparing him to Lucie is like day and night. Since he is about to turn 8 and she is 16 weeks as of tomorrow, it's not a totally fair comparison but, Duke is a lot calmer than she is, even as a puppy he always wanted to be in my lap. Lucie cuddles when she is tired, and sees your lap as comfy at the moment, but other than that she is a total wild child. But I don't think that is because she is a girl. When I first picked Duke I wasn't looking for a specific gender, I just wanted to see the litter, I had second pick and there was 1 female and 2 males I think that were still available, and he just kind of picked me. Out of all of them he wanted my attention the most and it was love from the start.

Donating YT 10K Club Member | I agree they all have different personalities...but my boys are the loving sweethearts and their personalities are closer to each other's...than Ramsey my female.

| My Suzi is a doll. She is a cuddler and wants to be with us all the time. If you can, sit down with the litter and pick the one that best meets your temperment. That is the most important thing in choosing. You will want one that is compatible with your personality.
