Lucie is my frist female dog ever. Duke is my first Yorkie, and comparing him to Lucie is like day and night. Since he is about to turn 8 and she is 16 weeks as of tomorrow, it's not a totally fair comparison but, Duke is a lot calmer than she is, even as a puppy he always wanted to be in my lap. Lucie cuddles when she is tired, and sees your lap as comfy at the moment, but other than that she is a total wild child. But I don't think that is because she is a girl.
When I first picked Duke I wasn't looking for a specific gender, I just wanted to see the litter, I had second pick and there was 1 female and 2 males I think that were still available, and he just kind of picked me. Out of all of them he wanted my attention the most and it was love from the start.
